"hey you! mingyu, i heard about you and wonwoo, that's so cute, i wish you the best of luck" a girl mingyu had never seen said

it was monday again and he went nervously to school, he was going to see wonwoo again and he wanted to look good, so he spent more time than he should've in front of the mirror making sure there was nothing out of place in his appearance

but why? how could a date be enough for him to effortlessly fall for jeon wonwoo? he wasn't even going to deny it

he had fallen hard

thinking about the older made him sigh in complete infatuation, he was too perfect to be real, because, what could you not love about wonwoo?

every single detail made mingyu's mind go wild, but, what was making him confused in that specific moment, was what the girl he didn't recognize had just said

"me and wonwoo? how does she know?" mingyu asked himself

he was walking down the hallway in direction towards his first class when the mysterious girl had wished him luck with his soulmate, but just when he was about to ask, jinho from his swim class smiled at him

"you guys are literally the cutest soulmate couple i've ever seen, are you guys dating yet?" he asked

mingyu had to tilt his head down slightly because the guy in front of him was very short "what?" he replied with another question

"you and wonwoo, you know, soulmates" the boy in front of him said teasingly and wiggled his eyebrows

"who- how? what? how do you know that?" the taller asked in a very confused tone

"well, you know, news travel really fast, okay, i have to get going, see you in class" jinho said quickly and left

he felt someone staring at him and his heart started beating faster as he saw his soulmate looking at him from some meters apart

he approached him quickly and wonwoo asked first "are you asking yourself the same question i am?"

mingyu nodded "if it's who ate my last chocolate that i left in the fridge, then yes" he joked and then started giggling "i'm sorry"

the older laughed "who do you think spread it?" he asked

"i'm not sure, but i don't hate it" he replied and then looked away "it's actually quite nice" he admitted

"i feel the same way" wonwoo bit his lip and giggled before looking at him and smiling shyly

"i really don't know if it's too soon because we have just gone to one date, but i think it just feels right, are we like- official? or?" mingyu asked nervously

wonwoo gulped "every second i spend with you really feels like a dream" he said with his voice slightly shaking "do you feel that way about me? for us to- well be a couple" he asked

"i feel it so hard it's driving me crazy, you're amazing wonwoo, i'm serious when i say i don't know how i didn't fall for you sooner" mingyu admitted "plus, you already met my parents, isn't that like a huge step?" he joked

wonwoo chortled "i guess that we're officially a couple then" he said shyly and stared at his feet

just then, they heard a picture snap, they turned to where the sound came from and saw seungkwan holding a phone and pointing the camera towards them

"okay i'm sorry guys, but it was such a beautiful moment i thought you guys would want to have the memory in a picture" he said guiltily and shrugged

"so, you were the one that spread the rumor?" mingyu asked

"no no, wait, that wasn't me, i swear, i heard the rumor too and came looking for you, but when i saw you, you two were being the cutest couple ever so i just had to take a picture" he admitted and walked over to them

"it's okay, i don't care who spread the rumor because it's not a rumor anymore" mingyu said happily

wonwoo laughed with a flustered expression and seungkwan looked at them sweetly before realizing something

"wait, how are we going to spend our breaks now? will you take turns to hang out with them and then with us?" the younger asked

"can't we all just hang out together?" mingyu pouted and looked at wonwoo

"well, i don't think hao, junhui and jihoon will have a problem with being all together, but where would we even hang out? the art cafeteria or where you guys spend your breaks?" the older asked

mingyu and seungkwan looked at each other hesitantly "come on, he's my soulmate, he's trustworthy" the taller said

seungkwan nodded "okay, wonwoo, we'll tell you because we trust you, but you and your friends can't tell anyone else, okay?" he asked

the older looked at them nervously but just nodded in complete anticipation since the other was being so serious about it

"we have a secret hideout, in the janitor's closet on the second floor, if you enter it, there's a secret staircase that leads to the roof and that's where we spend all of our breaks" mingyu said in almost a whisper
