mingyu could breath properly now so he was sitting on the bed with seungcheol beside him and verkwan in front of them sitting on the other bed

"you literally got your mark in the worst possible day ever to get it" seungkwan chuckled

"i know, it's nearly impossible to tell who it was" mingyu bit his lip and concentrated to remember what happened

"but, didn't you feel it? it's weird if you didn't because when you get the mark you can feel that um i don't know how to explain it, like butterflies perhaps?" hansol asked

"the thing is, i do remember the exact moment someone touched my neck because it hurt like hell, it was when a bunch of people were pushed over to us and seungkwan even tripped, i just don't recall who it was, do you guys remember who was around us at the time?"

they all shook their heads in disappointment, it wasn't like they were checking around waiting for the moment

"maybe you didn't feel that tingly feeling because it was a hit and it hurt" seungkwan said

mingyu nodded "maybe it's not time for me to meet them yet then, it's probably best if we don't force it" he said

"force it? how will you know if it's your destiny if you give up?" seungkwan scoffed

"let's just think really hard, the person that touched you had bare hands today, so they are probably not going to be wearing gloves tomorrow" seungcheol said

they all slightly opened their mouths and nodded in agreement, it did make a lot of sense and it could help them eliminate a bunch of people

"did you touch them too? because you could've left them a mark and we could just see if anyone is looking for someone tomorrow and figure it out" hansol said

mingyu thought back to the moment but couldn't recall well "now that i think of it, i guess i did feel someone's hand but i'm not sure if it was the same person" he explained

"that makes things easier, we can search for someone that isn't wearing gloves and that and has a mark on their hands" seungkwan said

"i don't know guys, i think it'll be forced if we to try to find them" mingyu looked away unconvinced

"rubbish, sometimes you need to fuck destiny and try things by yourself without expecting it to mean something" seungkwan replied

"don't worry too much, it's not like we're 100% sure that we're going to find them tomorrow, the odds of that are low, so if we don't, we can stop looking and you can continue your life like nothing happened until you find them by destiny" hansol explained

"i know, i guess i'm just a little nervous, that's it, if you would've told me 24 hours ago that in a day i would be looking for my soulmate because they gave me a mark i would've probably flipped" mingyu said tiredly "i mean, isn't it crazy? I HAVE A MARK" he said desperately

"you have a mark" seungkwan said slowly and impressed obviously still not completely processing what was happening

"let's just sleep, it was a tiring day, we can worry about soulmates tomorrow" seungcheol said with a smile and they all agreed
