"what the fuck?" seungcheol asked

as soon as mingyu left school that day, they went over to seungkwan's and he had just explained what had happened

"so, he isn't your real soulmate?" hansol asked

mingyu shook his head "no, junhui and him will tell me what happened tomorrow, so maybe i'll figure out who my soulmate really is tomorrow" he said

"i really hope so" seungkwan said tiredly

"i didn't want to be the first to say it but, i'm glad he isn't your soulmate, you two sucked together" seungcheol said

"i completely agree" mingyu said "i don't know why but, i'm actually a little excited to know who my real soulmate is" he admitted shyly

they all teased him "that's cute" hansol said

mingyu actually blushed, why was he feeling that way? "what's happening to me?" he asked and covered his face

his friends looked at him sweetly "you probably feel it coming" seungkwan said

he just rolled his eyes playfully "stop" he said and then blushed harder, he couldn't control his emotions

next day, after school, he met with junhao at a coffee shop nearby the school and couldn't be more excited

minghao looked guilty "first of all, i'm really sorry i lied to you this time but let me explain, it wasn't my idea, your soulmate asked me to do it" he said

"my soulmate? why would they ask that? and who are they anyway? why are they hiding?" he asked

mmghao sighed "i'm sorry mingyu, the only thing that i can tell you is that he begged me to act like i was your soulmate because he's not ready to meet you" he said

mingyu tried his best to hide his disappointed but looked at the bright side "i understand that, i'm actually not mad that you lied to me, i'm pretty relieved, please don't take this the wrong way but, i'm so happy you aren't my soulmate" he said

minghao giggled "don't worry, i won't, our connection was terrible and i purposely cut you off sometimes to avoid misinterpretations from your soulmate" he said

"you were pretty good at it" mingyu laughed "wait- so junhui lied to me too? he acted depressed all his time? damn that's a little manipulative" he said and got a little uncomfortable

junhui started giggling "no, that was real, i'm just dumb" he said "look, i exaggerated a bit, i never saw minghao land on you because i was pushed too but when i looked at you guys again minghao was beside you, so i just assumed that was what happened" he said

"are you kidding me?" mingyu said completely shocked and then started laughing

"hey, it makes sense because it's not like who actually landed on you suddenly disappeared" junhui defended himself but then stopped talking and looked at minghao nervously

"so you know who my soulmate is too?" mingyu asked

junhui shrugged and then nodded "minghao told me when he explained what had happened and i promised not to tell, so i'm sorry" he said

"don't worry i wasn't going to ask you to tell me, i respect my soulmate's wishes, although i have to admit i'm a little disappointed since i thought i would be meeting him today" he scratched his neck

"him? how do you know it's a him?" minghao asked

"you said he isn't ready to meet me yet" mingyu smirked "you just let it slip" he said

minghao face-palmed "damn" he said and then chuckled "well i'm not actually regretting giving you that clue, i want you to find him as soon as possible but i can't really betray his trust, so i hope you find him soon and you guys can finally be together" he explained

"well, if my soulmate asked you to play along, it's okay, i won't give up on finding him, then i already know he has a mark and that he's a he, so thanks for that" he said "oh, and junhui, i still can't believe all this mess happened just because you assumed that minghao was my soulmate"

junhui chuckled in embarrassment "i know, but don't worry, not only did you and minghao suffer, clearly i also paid for my mistake by getting my heart broken" he said

"it hurt so much to see you like that, i'm sorry" minghao said with a pout and booped his nose

"i felt so guilty all the time, you looked absolutely broken" mingyu said and looked at him sadly

"let's not think about that anymore, the good thing is that now i'm happy and minghao is really my soulmate" he said and smiled

"yeah, your mark suits you well" mingyu complimented "it feels weird that i saw you guys in that personal moment" he chuckled

"don't worry, if it wasn't for you we would've never known" junhui said "well actually, we all just did what destiny planned for us, all that mess to finally discover the thing i most wished for these past few months"

minghao got curious "how did you even think of it?" he asked the taller

mingyu didn't know how to explain "i just thought of it in the moment, i already suspected you weren't my soulmate because we're literally platonic and then, when i saw you, i just knew, how junhui's eyes sparkled when he told me about his crush on you and how awful he looked when he thought you weren't his soulmate, i guess it was just love" he said

junhu blushed "yeah, i probably did get a little carried away when i talked to you about minghao, i just- since i saw him, it's like something attracted me to him" he admitted

minghao smiled shyly "but i was too proud to admit i also had a huge crush on him and that's why we didn't interact much in real life and we never got our mark voluntarily" he said

"so, mingyu, don't let your soulmate waste any more time and go find him" he smiled
