"a month, really? isn't that too much? i mean, it was an innocent mistake, it's not like you guys stayed over at a hotel to do it or something" jihoon joked and then started laughing

all of them laughed "is our whole life going to be full of sex jokes? or maybe i should say non-sex jokes" mingyu joked as he continued laughing

they were on one of their breaks and were telling their friends what had happened and why they were grounded

"at least be grateful you got grounded for just one month, as i suspected, i'll be walking myself EVERYWHERE for the rest of the semester" wonwoo said and pouted

"well, i guess that's somehow worse, but i can't go anywhere but school for a month and i don't have my phone either" mingyu replied and joined his pout

the other boys laughed "weren't they suspicious that you guys spent the night together? if you know what i mean" junhui asked and wiggled his eyebrows

"in my case, yes, in fact, they wouldn't believe that we just literally slept together in a non-sexual way so i had to come out, gladly they were okay with it" mingyu explained

"at least you got something positive out of it" hansol chuckled "and didn't they feel pity for you and reduce your sentence?" he asked

"originally it was going to be two months of punishment but when i told them they said that it would only be one so i decided to stay quiet in case they changed their minds" the taller said

"my parents weren't really compassionate so i didn't even talk back because i knew it was my fault" wonwoo said "even though technically it was mingyu's fault" he playfully glared at the younger

"okay guys let's come to a conclusion, raise your right hand if you think it was my fault and raise your left hand if you think it was wonwoo's fault" mingyu said and then counted to three

only three people raised their left hand, minghao, jihoon and him, which made him scoff and wonwoo laugh in victory

"told you" he said and smiled at him while nudging his shoulder

"tild yi" the younger mimicked him and then laughed "oh, daily compliment, your nose scrunch when you laugh or smile is really cute" he said

"you've got to be kidding me, i can't believe someone is actually challenging hansol and me to take the first place in cutest couple, mingyu gives you a daily compliment?" seungkwan asked and looked at wonwoo

the older shrugged and then blushed while looking away "well- yeah i mean he's the one that does it because he wants to, i really didn't ask him to do it" he explained

"he has a horrible self esteem so i decided to tell him daily compliments until he believes them and loves himself" mingyu completed what the other had said with a smile

"okay, but really? cutest couple? bitch, if you're talking about cute, junhui and i are winners" minghao scoffed as he looked at seungkwan

but verkwan made sassy shocked expressions "bitch you wish, we literally gave each other our marks as kids and thought they were best friend marks, then we became a couple in ELEMENTARY, try to top that" seungkwan said brazenly and then high fived hansol with a smug look

"we literally didn't touch each other because we were so in love, we were afraid that if we touched each other, we wouldn't get a mark, now that's cute" minghao said with brashness all over his words

"guys it doesn't matter which couple is the cutest, all of you are different and cute in your own way" seungcheol explained

they all stayed quiet until jihoon said "okay but verkwan are definitely cuter"

the discussion started again making mingyu chuckle "i like this new group of friends" he thought and smiled before looking at wonwoo and kissing his mark

the older blushed and touched his mark while giggling "why does it tickle?" he asked out loud

the other four that were discussing stopped to answer "because everytime your soulmate kisses your mark, you can feel just a tiny sensation of how it felt when they gave it to you the first time duh, that's like basic soulmate stuff" seungkwan explained as if it was obvious

"what? how do you know that?" junhui asked

"how can you not know that?" hansol asked "it's so obvious" he said and kissed seungkwan's wrist making him yelp and touch it while giggling

"let me try it" junhui said and grabbed minghao's wrist before kissing his hand gently

"IT'S TRUE" the other chinese boy shouted as he grabbed his hand with an incredulous expression

they all laughed and then mingyu started thinking "well it's normal for seungkwan and hansol to know that, considering they've had their mark for the longest time, besides them, the person here who has had his mark for the longest time is wonwoo, isn't it?" he asked

"i guess it is, it has been a while" his soulmate replied with a smile

"i know, i think it was about six months ago i gave you the mark, how quick does time pass by, doesn't it?" he asked

"rubbish, six months already? i can't believe it" minghao said incredulously

"it's actually been ten months, remember that i used to cover it up with makeup" wonwoo said

all of them widened their eyes so junhui spoke "i guess time passes by faster when you're happy" he said with a smile as he looked at his soulmate

"it really does" mingyu smiled
