they were at seungcheol's house because mingyu said he had some news and then told them about what had happened

"okay, okay, i'm sorry" seungkwan apologized guiltily

"i can't believe it, all this time, you knew wonwoo was mingyu's soulmate?" hansol asked "and you didn't tell me?" he pouted

"i didn't always know" seungkwan shrugged "i realized when we had lunch with minghao and wonwoo that time so i started questioning him" he said

"that explains why you seemed sassy, but i don't get it, why did you question him as if it was something bad?" seungcheol asked "and how did you even notice?"

"i was sassy because i thought they were manipulating him and mingyu doesn't deserve that" he said and looked at the taller "i also might've threatened to cut them if they hurt him" he scratched the back of his neck with a guilty expression and looked away

"oh, so not only did you hide my soulmate away from me, you also threatened him?" mingyu chuckled

"guys, at least let me explain, i saw how wonwoo was staring at mingyu when we were having lunch so i suspected he had a thing for him, but then i noticed his mark, i only know one guy with those huge ass hands, so i stared at him on purpose, when i saw his panicked expression i confirmed my theory, plus i always suspected minghao wasn't your soulmate because he is the one that landed on top of me when we were pushed, i just wasn't sure at first and decided to believe the story junhui told you" he explained

"and why didn't you tell us as soon as you realized?" hansol asked

"i wanted to be completely sure first, that's why i confronted them, when i did, wonwoo explained why he was afraid of telling mingyu and practically begged me not to tell you, i didn't want to ruin it for you guys and felt compassion for him so i decided not to tell you" seungkwan said "but when i saw mingyu was getting stressed because of him i confronted him again and gave him a week to tell you" he explained

"he told you why he didn't want me to know?" mingyu asked and opened his mouth in surprise

"he didn't even tell mingyu, that hurts" seungcheol laughed

"i really can't tell you his reason, i'm sure he'll tell you as soon as possible, believe me, you'll understand when you hear him out, it's actually pretty sad" seungkwan said and pouted

"i can kind of imagine what it'll be about, from what he told me, he has bad self-esteem" mingyu said sadly

"the funny thing is that you realized because you overheard minghao talking about how wonwoo was going to beg me not to tell you when i had already decided i wasn't going to tell you" seungkwan said

"so, you weren't going to tell me?" mingyu asked

"no, you were doing so much better and i figured out you could manage a few more weeks without knowing, also, i didn't want to be the one to tell you, it should've been him or you who figured it out" seungkwan said and then chuckled

"the good thing is that now mingyu knows and he has a date with his soulmate on saturday" hansol teased making them all wiggle their eyebrows and look at him

mingyu rolled his eyes playfully but then bit his bottom lip with a grin "i'm so happy i'm excited, this doesn't feel like how it felt with minghao at all"

"i'm glad" seungcheol said and smiled at him

"although there is one thing that i'm nervous about" mingyu's smile faded away and frowned "i never told minghao, but i'm pretty sure wonwoo knows i'm asexual, he was in the class where i had that panic attack and accidentally came out to a bunch of people"

"oh" his friends said at the same time

"but, won't he understand? i mean, if he knows, then he's probably cool with it and won't shame you for it" hansol said

"i know, but what if he tries to convince me i'm not or tries to make me do something i don't want t-" mingyu started

"if he even tries to lay a non-consensual finger on you, he will be found dead in before he even knows he was killed by me" seungkwan warned

his other friends nodded "we told you the same thing with minghao, consent is everything" hansol said

"i can't really say much because i've never been in such a situation but, i don't think it'll be extremely painful for him, sex isn't everything in a relationship, he can always do it alone, you know? like autosex if you know what i mean" seungkwan said and made obscene hand gestures

they all chuckled "of course, i guess he could understand that, he's not dumb" mingyu said and then changed the subject "but now that i'll be going on a date with my actual soulmate i'm expecting a lot, so i hope this time it's actually good" he said with hope filling his eyes
