Chapter 1

Aashna's Pov

Dear diary,
Today was a beautiful day. I had worn my favourite blue kurti paired with silver earrings. When Zaeden saw me, he went gaga over me literally! He complimented me so much and it just made my day! I am so glad to have Zaeden in my life. He knows me and i will propose him for marriage super soon. Also, for work, as you know diary, i lost my job as a party organiser in the Shah Company. I have been working with them since so long! But they found someone else better than me. Tomorrow morning i'm gonna go to find myself a new job, ask my friends maybe. If everything goes well, i will propose Zaeden to marry me tomorrow itself!! But before that, have to have a Quest for my next job.

I checked into my diary for the day, actually night. And i went off to sleep after some imaginations of me and Zaeden having beautiful moments together after marriage.

I woke up when the sunrays hit me through the translucent curtains of my room. Today would be a long day for me to find a job and if i do, propose zaeden!

I went downstairs to see my mom in the kitchen and my dad who was gardening in the morning. I hugged my mom and wished her good morning soon after brushing my teeth and getting fresh.

"What's up for breakfast today?" I asked my mom.
"Bread and butter along with fruits for you Aash."

I went to the dining table and start eating my breakfast for the day. Then, i showered and then wore a white kurti with hoops as my earrings along with a watch on my wrist. I applied light makeup including lipstick and a bit of powder. And done!

I went downstairs again and left home before bidding goodbye to mom and dad. First of all, i went to my friend's place to meet her. Her name is Sakshi.

I waited for her below her building and finally she came.
"Hey sakshi" i hugged her
"Hi aashnaaa met you after so long."
"First of all where have you been and tell me all about your life right now"
I told her. She shifted to mumbai recently from Pune. She told me that she's been working all day and night as a manager at a nearby hotel. I also told her about my recent loss of job. Ugh
"I lost my job" i said with a disappointment tone in my voice.
"Oh." She said not clearly understanding what i just said.

"Dude um they just put me out of job because they found someone better than me!" I said in an angry tone

"First of all, calm down. Okay? We wi sort things out" she said while we were walking on the footpath.

"I am jobless right now. I have absolutely nothing to do. I dont even have enough money in my bank account to fulfill my fucking needs!" Words rushed out of my mouth

"Just calm down aashna. Your high BP wont reduce any problem but create more problems. Okay?" She said ordering me

"Ok" i said as we sat down on a bench. Time flew as we thought about my job while enjoying the breeze of air. Sakshi took out her phone and started using it. She was doing something in it idk what..

"Wtf sakshi keep your phone away and think what should i do now.. since i'm jobless.." i was about to take her phone away

"Aye wait wait" she said and snatched the phone from my hand.

I narrowed my eyebrows and wondered what must be more important.

"Dudeeeeeee" she screamed out of nowhere.

"Whattttt" i tried to mimic her.

"Look at this" she told me to look at her phone

"What is it you read it inshort for me na please" i requested her

"Okay so there is a Singhania Company"
"Hm"
"Run by the Singhania family."
"Hm. So?"
" Let me complete re"
"Ya ya complete"
"Ha so this Simghania company is going to be organising a party on the cruise and they usually organise many such parties, uk like even in their house. So in this article, they have written that they are in need of a party organiser who is excellent at their job"

"Hm toh?" I said without realising what she just said
"Areyyy whatttt" i realised soon and hugged her for this brilliant news.
"Thankyou ya sakshi"
"Usmein kya thanks aashna. I'm your best friend aren't i?"
"Oh ofcourse you are" i said smiling at her

"But where is this Singhania company?" I asked her
"Arey just google it na, you will find it, they're very famous and rich. Also don't forget to call them before going there."

I googled it and found all the details including their contact number and address.

"But bro take care of yourself and also of what you do and organise there. Because they want excellent work. Also i've often heard bad news about them" she said cautioning me

"What bad news?" The curious me popped up
"Nothing. You don't take that into your mind. Just go there, do your task and also ask for a bigger amount of money as salary" she said

"Ya i'll try. But why aren't you telling me what bad news you've heard about them? I've toh never even heard about them lol" the curiousity in me rose.

"Nothing as such. They're just rumours."

"Okay then. Anyways, if i get this job at the Singhania's i have a big plan to celebrate the day." I said smiling and excitingly

"What plan, tell me aashna!"

"I'm going to propose Zaeden for marriage today!"

"Oh my god, are you serious?" She said smiling and i see through her eyes how happy she is for me.

I nodded my head and we hugged again before i left to reach the Singhania Company.

Sanket's POV

"What the fuck? You lost those files? How could you Senorita?" I screamed at that dumb girl.

"Ss-sorr-ry S-sir"

"Do you even know how important are those files for me? It consisted of all the transactions i have made during my business deals." I said looking at the table screaming at the staff. They all went away after some screaming when i told them to find for it.

I was sitting on my chair in my cabin when I realised someone's presence there outside my cabin.
