Chapter 26

Aashna's POV

A pair of hands wrapped around my waist as I was selecting my clothes for the day. Ofcourse it was Sanket. He hugged me from the back as his face fell on my neck, his breath warming the crevice of my neck which sent shivers down my spine. It actually gave me goosebumps but I decided not to show it.

I pretended as if his mere touch didn't have any effect on me. I pretended I am used to his touch. But actually his touch was heavenly for me. The way his manly yet soft hands touched me with care and love, was the best feeling in the world.

"Good morning baby." he said placing a kiss on my neck. He's probably in a good mood. But I'm not.

"Morning." I said.

"You smell so good even without showering baby." He said while kissing my neck softly once more. Was he sarcastic? I don't think so but..anyways..

I slightly squeezed his head to budge him slightly when he started placing soft kisses all over my neck. And my eyes fell on the clothes I wanna wear as I picked them up from my closet. I budged away from him.

"What happened honey? Everything okay?" He asked me with concern as I just jerked away from him. Did he forget what happened last night? I decided not to reply him as I brushed my teeth.

"Oh.." he realised why was I frowning in the morning. All because of last night's fight.

"Why are you still mad at me?" He asked me when I finished brushing my teeth.

"I'm not mad at you. I just need space, I told you yesterday." I stated.

"Right." He said kind of pissed. Why the hell was he pissed? I should be the one pissed at him.

"Why are you pissed?"

"Because you're not talking to me!"

"What?" I was angry as well as chuckled a bit knowing he is like a baby, always wanting attention.

"Sanket, I'll be okay. I guess. I just need space. Will you give it to me?" I decided to speak softly looking into his eyes. I'm not actually sure if I'll be okay. Let's see what happens with time. He nodded and went to freshen himself up for the day.

After a while, after having breakfast, Sanket's phone rang for a video call. It was dadi and mom on the other side.

"Hey dadi mom, how are y'all. Is everything okay over there? How is the situation? Did you take your medicines on time dadi? Mom stay with her all the time. What are y'all doing in your free time?" As soon as he clicked on the green button, he flooded them with questions. I could see through him as he was full with concern for them. He was also kind of missing them.

"Yea, how are y'all dadi mom?" I asked too.

They finally replied by saying, "we're all okay dear. Me aur dadi saathmein hi rehte hai. Randhir bhi baadmein aaya toh achha laga he stays with us only. We play some game or two in our free time or just on our phones. We're ekdum fine. Even dadi. How are you Sanket beta and Aashna beta?" Mom replied to all of Sanket's questions.

"Even we're okay. So what is it aise hi call kiya ya there's something important?" Sanket asked straight forward and I smacked him slightly on his arm for asking like that.

"We have a surprise for you." Dadi said.

"Yes boss. Mene bohot mehnat ki hai aapke surprise ke liye." Randhir snapped out of nowhere.

"What happened kya hai surprise?" We jumped with excitement. They then showed us a ticket. A ticket of travelling. Or what? What is it?

"So Randhir called all of your friends Sanket and Aashna your mom called your best friend Sakshi. Sakshi toh nahi aa payegi she's caught up with some business work. But sanket your friends are going on a vacation. And you guys are joining them!" Mom finally dropped the bomb. What the heck? We will go on a vacay!!!

"Woah woah" we jumped with excitement.

"Oh my gosh thankyou so much thankyou!" I said and sanket thanked them too.

"But to where?" Sanket asked.

"Maldives!" They all said in unison on the video call and me and sanket hugged. Oh my god we were going to Maldives!!!

"Oh my god thankyou so much dadi mom. This is best surprise gift ever!" Sanket said and I agreed.

We bid our goodbyes after a while and i jumped in excitement as we were going to go to Maldives which was on top of my bucket list!

"I told ya, I would take you out of India and fulfill all your wishes!" He smirked.

"Ahah but you aren't the one who fulfilled this wish. It's dadi and mom, not you!" I teased. Completely forgotten about the fight in our excitement to go to Maldives.

"Ya right right. What else are your wishes?" He asked.

"Excuse me? You already forgot?"

"No I didn't. I completely remember how you want to party and dance your heart out in a club. You wanna go sky diving as well as scuba diving. You wanna make snowman in the snow in the USA and talk to people in german in Germany, just because you learnt it for timepass when you were younger. You wanna click beautiful pictures wherever you go and capture videos for memory." He listed actually all my wishes as I stood there with slight water in my eyes. Are those tears? My eyes glistened with them as he remembers each and every thing I say to him everyday, on each date.

"Well you forgot one. I wanna shoplift someday." I grinned.

"What?" He chuckled as he smiles at my stupid wish.

"Yeah. I do!"

"Okay, your wish is my command!" He says as we both chuckle.

The ticket was sent to us online by Randhir. It was scheduled tomorrow morning 4am. We started packing and getting new stuff whatever we needed for travelling. We both went to a store for buying travel stuff and some new clothes, ofcourse.

After like 6 hours, I bought a whole lot of new clothes, travel important stuff, containers, tampons, swimsuits, sunscreen, new shade of lipstick, sunglasses, etc. Even sanket bought some stuff for himself and for our journey.

We got home and packed all our stuff into bags which counted to 3 bags in total. We were done with everything and we sat down on the bed for breathing an air of relief. "Everything done right?" I confirmed. Forgetting that I'm myself the head of the organising committee.
"Yep" he said.

We slept after eating dinner which was made by the staff and waited in excitement for the next day, for leaving to fly to Maldives!
