Aashna's POV

"The love of my life, died two years ago. Richa." He says unexpectedly while looking at the night view infront of us while my eyes stayed glued on him.

"Oh. I'm sorry.." I say covering my mouth in shock.

"A-aa, no need to be sorry. You were the one who filled her place." He said. Wrong use of words, Sanket.

"Am I just a replacement for you?" I whisper, my voice broken.

"No no no, that's not what I meant. You were the one, honey who filled my life with love again. With your curious, silly, goofy to your mature side, I've been attracted to you always and it's nothing like I did to Richa. Richa was completely different and my love for you is so different. I don't feel like the thing with Richa was love, anymore. This is true, Aashna. And I bet I've never felt such a beautiful feeling before. I swear you are nothing like Richa. She had her own flaws which annoyed me, but your imperfections which you might feel insecure about are perfections for me. I love them dearly as much as I do to you." He says holding my hand in his.

"Sanket-" I couldn't say anything and he interrupted me.

"First, first let me complete what I had to say to you about Richa. Well we had a kinda good relationship but yeah, too many fights. I did love her dearly but then, she died."

"Oh.."

"Yeah and after that, I got too busy, well made myself busy in work to divert my mind. Then, I also had a hook up relationship with Angie to divert and calm my mind again. I was cool and almost forgotten about it but I also denied dadi and the rest to find any girl for me for marriage. I just didn't want to. Richa was my fiancé and I wanted to marry her but she got killed. But then, when you came, I got attracted to you, liked you and fell in love with you. I had my eyes on you since the day I met you, darling. It was definitely love at first sight for me."

"It wasn't for me but.. I do love you Sanket. I still love you. Those fights, the trust issues are nothing now. Our love, is what matters. And if there is love now, real love, we do trust each other, right?" I say reassuringly.

"Yes, more than anything. More than ever. I love you and I trust you more than ever. I promise you that trust issues or lies will never come in between us ever again."

"I promise too." I say and we both hold an eye contact, me smiling a little and him too.

He said, Richa was killed?

"Uh- Richa.."

"Yeah?"

"You said Richa got killed?" I asked him furrowing my eyebrows.

"Yeah. Your ex boyfriend, my number one enemy, Zaeden killed her."

"What?"

"In one of the attacks. Those were gruesome days."

"Why would he do that? I mean I know Zaeden killed Rajvansh papa but her too?"

"Yes. He cruelly did that. To hurt me even more, after my father's death, he killed Richa too. He did so because he hates me, truely hates me."
