Busy Day

Chapter 22

Sanket's POV

When we reached home, we slept to our sides as the day was tiring after wishing each other goodnight. I imagined about having Aashna in my arms before going to sleep. Today was a beautiful day. I hope she liked what I did for her. It was a casual date but because of her presence, it did become a special date.

In the morning, I was having back to back calls and messages to respond. I quickly replied to as many business texts I could on the bed itself. I kept my phone aside and stretched for a while. I looked at Aashna and she was sleeping peacefully. I stood up from the bed, went to her side and bent down to kiss her forehead.

She yawned and stretched her arms when I kissed her forehead, ugh I woke her up
"Oh I'm so sorry did I wake you up?"

"Ah no, don't be" she said with a smile.

"Where are you going?" She asked me.

"How did you know I was going somewhere?"

"Arey you never wake up so early. It's 6am. You wake up at 7.30 or 7.45am na" she said. Giving me full wifey vibes.

I stretched and said, "oh yea, today's gonna be a busy day, too many calls messages emails and work at office."

"Oh you're leaving now?"

"Yea after I freshen up. What time are you gonna be leaving?"

"Um my usual time. Yesterday I had work I don't think today I'll have much. So 8am."

"Oh okay, then I'll leave.."

I went to the washroom, did my business there, showered, put on my suit and checked in my phone for some more Business messages.

I saw Aashna Seated on the chair in the balcony sipping on her black coffee. I went towards her and kissed her forehead.
"Hey,I'm leaving now!" I said.

"Yea, cool. Bye!" She said and gave me a smile. I bid her goodbye too and left for work.

I left with Randhir. It takes about 10 minutes to reach my company so I put up some good music in the car. I reached and when I entered my cabin, I was flooded with files and staff.

I don't actually have a huge staff but just the organising committee to review files of this company. Their seniors to check with the client. I also have a finance manager as I said earlier and his assistant to help him out. I have the other staff too for some minimal rather small processes.

There was no new meeting today with a new client rather I had to sort stuff out with the old clients. I had to talk with my finance manager head about the money stuff with each and every client.  that would take quite a lot time. Also, need to check on the work of my staff too. I also also have to check the business messages, emails and need to reply to them formally with a calm mind.

The finance head came up and we discussed the deals with all clients. All the transactions were perfect with no fault. We ended by 2pm and now it was lunch time. I went to the canteen area and bought a cup of tea as well as a sandwich. I checked in my phone and there were messages from Aashna. Uh I forgot to text her.

Hey

I'm at office.

Waiting..

Reply.

Hey, sorry I actually forgot to text you. My meeting just got over. In the canteen area right now. 🍱🍽️

I texted her and kept my phone inside my pocket. I sat on a chair and waited for her. And I heard a notification sound.

I already ate food and right now I have another meeting..

I got off for a while but I can understand; work is important and can't skip meetings ofcourse, in my own company.

See you later then ❤️🌝

I texted her see you later with our favourite emoji. I quickly ate my food as I did have work after lunch.

In the evening, by 10pm, yeah ofcourse that's night, I got done with my work for today. Aashna had already gone home at 7pm after texting me. Today was a really tiring day and I needed food and sleep asap.

Aashna's POV

today I had a meeting or 2 in the time when Sanket was free. He was busy all day today and I decided to do something for him when he comes home.

The entire family had eaten their dinner at 9pm and they all had slept till 10; I waited for Sanket to come as I prepared a meal for him and me.

I made his favourite pav bhaji along with dal rice and desert mein- Rasgulla.

A/N: I SO WANT TO EAT THESEE!!!

I heard him opening the door and coming inside and I welcomed him with a hug.
"How was your day?" I asked him as he removed his coat.

"Um tiring" he said and rubbed his hair.

"There's a surprise for you!" I said with a wide smile.

"Woah what surprise?"

I took him to the dining table to reveal all the dishes I had made for him. He smiled, and got happy, I guess? And hugged me. I hugged him back as he said, "thankyou honey"

We sat down to eat before I said, "one more thing." I got candles and lighted them up.
"So it's a candle night dinner date huh?" He said with a smile.
"Yea" I blushed.

He told me something's about today that he met the finance head and had back to back meetings today. He told me about it and there was no worrying matter, thankfully. We finished eating and I told the worker to take the dishes into the dish washer. We went into our room and crashed to the bed after changing.

Mine and Sanket's relationship is kind of progressing. God knows what he holds for us in the future. Can't wait to explore different things with him. I thought and dozed off.

A/N

Update: I'm twisting the plot a tiny bit. Earlier, I had said Sanket would save Aashna from all dangers and stuff like that also that this will be a  thrilling story about killing and all; but nope from now removing that quotient.

You will get to read how their love progresses ( with beautiful and intense romance scenes ) and the love that will grow and grow in their hearts for each other along with all past revelations and fights.
