"So you don't wanna play a game or anything?" Juliet asked, breaking a day's worth of silence, fiddling with shards of glass that were next to her as she sat still on the floor. "No." Tom answered bluntly, having a seat on top of the front counter, he was too busy sharpening his knives. "Oh okay..." was all she said, letting her head rest on her on her knees that were curled up close to her.

"You didn't answer my question." She spoke after a while. "What question? You ask a lot of those." Tom commented while putting his knife as well as the his sharpening stone next to him. Of course she didn't see this, but it was an attempt to actually pay attention to what she was saying. "About why you're out here." She told him, leaning her head against the wall.

"Why do you wanna know?" He asked her getting back to sharpening his knife. "You asked about me...now I'm asking about you." She said looking over a shelf trying to look at him, but it was no use, the object was too big. Letting out a scoff, he shook his head as he rolled his eyes. "You gave me a generic answer that anyone else would give. We're all trying not to die out here, same with people in there."

"In there?" She repeated his words with confusion, he had no idea what he meant by that. "People that live behind walls, any kind of walls." Tom clarified in some type of annoyance, purposely making himself sound like that. "You're from zone blue, you had walls. Why'd you leave?" She questioned, she didn't know why anyone in their right mind would do that.

"You were behind walls too, why did you leave? Same question applies to everyone." Tom questioned back with a glare, almost everyone at some point in their life lived behind walls, everyone. "I didn't leave. I've been out where since I was like six or seven." Juliet answered letting the sound of his blade fill her ears. "By yourself?" He questioned now very curious.

"No, of course not." She answered with a bit of a laugh. "I wasn't alone before, now I am. That's how it goes, you're alone too." The girl added, playing with on unknown object that was resting on the floor besides her. "So now that I told you I've been out here practically my whole life. It's your turn. Why are you out here?" All this talking and all these questions were just to pass time, Tom wouldn't mind if it was quiet, apparently she did.

Staying silent for a while, he cleared his throat and stuck is knife into the counter top, the noise of it made her jump up a bit. "I'm trying to find someone, some people. They're long ways from here." That's all he was going to say at the moment, he didn't want to say much, she didn't need to know. "...that's the only reason why I left. Well I was going to leave eventually...zone blue it's just—"

"—horrible?" Juliet questioned, trying to fill in his sentence. To his surprise, she took the words right out of his mouth. "Yeah, how'd you know?" He questioned, beginning to assume that maybe she was from there, and was possibly lying about everything else. "Everyone knows." She said with some type of sadness. It was true, everyone did know, but he just wanted to ask how.

Taking his knife out of the counter, a puzzled look took over his face. As he opened his mouth to question her once again, a very loud noise in the distance caught their attention. It sounded like some type of explosion, but only from far away. Quickly the two got up and looked at each other in some type of amazement. They both knew this was their opportunity to leave.

But before they could get too excited, they needed to be careful and make sure this was really the time for this. Juliet approach the boarded up windows and peaked out of the cracks. All she saw was silhouettes moving towards whatever happened, and whatever happened didn't look too good, thankfully it was far away from here. Some of the revenants moved slow, and some of them ran, but they were all still going to the same place.

A loud echo from a far was heard as well, it was good to know the attention wasn't on them at the moment. "Looks like they're heading over from where we came from, but further." She informed, still keeping her eyes outside. "What happened." Tom asked with curiosity, it sounded loud from where he was, so it must've been bad. He didn't care how bad it was, he just cared if it was enough to get the revenants away from them.
