"New York. Is in the Midwest?" Juliet questioned as she pointed on the map, she'd never really seen maps before, well she had, but not enough to study them, not like how Tom studied them. He just knew the states, cities, oceans and regions, to Juliet, that was way more than she knew. "First of all, that's Kentucky, and New York is in the North East." He corrected, pointing to the correct marking, a small smile on his face as he looked at her. He hadn't been feeling great these past few days, not after hearing the news on the tape recorder, but Juliet always made him feel better, especially now.

Juliet felt the same, it made her sad Daisy wasn't here, but the nights were way worse than the days. Tom distracted her, even more so now after the kiss a few nights prior. After that, they had fallen asleep, Tom woke up in the morning surprise she was still in his arms. Now Juliet seemed to find it fascinating and didn't want to stop, sometimes after a little argument ensued about them teasing each other with mean names, Tom just usually shut her up with a kiss that just let to more kissing and Tom having to refrain himself from doing anything more, he really wanted to but that obviously wasn't safe, and he knew she wasn't ready for that. All she knew was kissing, and nothing else.

"You want to go to New York?" Juliet asked with hesitation. Slowly, he nodded his head, hoping that she would want to come with him. "McKay, that's really far..." for some reason, Georgia had been on her mind since she saw that one sign. "...but it's your family. And if you want to go to New York, then you should go..."

For some reason,Tom had a feeling there was more. "...but you don't want to go?" He questioned feeling his heart begin to beat rapidly. "I just want to find a home." She told him truthfully, just scared of his reaction, part of her was hoping they could go to Georgia together, but that was stupid, there was no way he would stay with her instead of going to get his family and she understood that. "In Georgia, right?" Tom asked trying not to act sour about it, but he just wanted her with him, and parting ways hurt him, especially after what happened a few nights ago. This couldn't happen yet. "Yes. In Georgia." The girl answer with a shy nod.

"Juliet, we have to go to New York." The boy pleaded while he began to fold up the map, putting it into his backpack. "We don't have to." The girl a roll of her eyes, obviously Tom took thag comment in a different way, slightly getting offended by her lack of understanding or empathy. "That's my family? What do you mean we don't have to? I have to." He told her, getting up from his seat at the table. These past days, they had been resting in the same house, unsure what to do about the whole thing since his family wasn't here. Recently, he had been making plans to go to New York, figuring Juliet would want to tag along.

"I don't mean it like that, I meant that you could come to Georgia, stay for a while if I find a place..." she elaborated, nervously playing with the material of her jeans. "That's crazy. I don't want to be in Georgia for the hell of it with you. I have to go to New York. I know you don't understand, and I don't expect you to." It was clear to him that she didn't see how important they were to him. "I do understand, just thought it would be nice, that's all..." the girl mumbled, still clear enough for him to hear her. "Well, it wouldn't be nice." He thought it would be horrible, apart from the fact that he would be with her.
