[THREE YEARS LATER/PRESENT DAY 2046]

"There's not that many outside anymore." Juliet informed with a small smile as she walked through the door of the secluded and isolated cabin, putting her bow and backpack on the floor, taking off her brown leather boots. "That's good." Tom responded with a small smile, hearing her footsteps make their way to him inside the dining room where he was getting all his weapons and ammunition organized. "Did your parents drop by?" She questioned a bit shyly with her hands behind her back, leaning back against the table, watching him as he did his thing.

Glancing at her for a moment, he smiled and nodded his head "yeah, they did. Just to drop off some bread for some reason, I think they just wanted to come over, we do live a bit far away from the rest of them." He answered. "They were hoping to see you, but you were gone." The boy added, her head perked up, and her mouth slightly opened, trying to find something to say. "Really?" The girl questioned with, a bright smile on her face, making Tom laugh a bit. "Of course. They really love you, baby. Sam likes you too, probably just because you have crayons and markers."

"Did they say anything important? Any news?" She questioned out of curiosity, things were getting a bit boring now and days, it was quiet, but Tom loved it, especially with her. "Not really. Just 'you two should come back and live closer to everyone' or 'why do you guys live so far?' And the usual 'when are you going to have kids?'" He recalled making her laugh, an actual genuine laugh that he just loved to hear, it made him laugh quietly as well. But then the small laughing fit stopped, and the quietness made her start to think to herself.

By the look on her face, he could tell she was very deep into thought, it wasn't hard to see. "Do you like it here? Like honestly like it here?" She questioned with seriousness looking him at him. Putting down his knife, he let out a sight, now standing in front of her, trapping her body between his and the wooden table behind her. "I love it here. I don't really like being out there with all those people and camps. It's nice out here." He said with a smile smile, brushing some strands of hair behind her ear, feeling her leaning into his touch. "I thought you were gonna ask about something else..." the boy confessed with a small laugh.

"Do you like it here?" Tom quizzed, tilting his head the slightest bit, now knowing that she hated it whenever he did that. "Yeah, it's perfect. I don't like being around people either." She answered quietly, her lips slightly brushing against his, until he leaned further down, now their lips were completely connected. The kiss was full of pation and hunger, he didn't really kiss her at all today, first thing she did in the morning was go outside, checking the perimeter. Usually he would wake her up, kissing all over her neck, or even sometimes surprise her by being being in between her legs underneath the covers.

All those mornings lead to something else, but not today, although he figured he could make up for lost time right now. His tongue lightly brushed across her bottom lip, then inviting itself to slide into her warm mouth. "Don't you have work to do?" Juliet questioned, pushing him away very gently with a hand on his chest. "Hmm I have no idea what you're talking about." But he did indeed have some guns and weapons to clean at the moment. Although right now, that was the least of his worries, he just wanted his attention to be on her and only her. That answered seemed to satisfy her. "Alright..."
