"Come on, we have to keep moving. The suns almost up." Tom told Juliet giving her a couple of gentle kicks in the leg, he didn't know any other way he could wake her up. She was easy to wake up, they kinda had to be, even the slightest blow of wind was enough to wake here up. She really wished she would lay down there forever, but she knew she had to be up.

So, rubbing her eyes and composing herself, she stretched and got up letting out a yawn. "If we keep it up, we can be in New Mexico by next week, or maybe less." He told her, spreading out the paper map on the counter marking down where they were, there was a lot of circles and notes written on the map, so much that Juliet couldn't even begin to read it, some of it was probably personal things as well.

"Can we please not do the whole two days without stopping please, it was horrible..." she pleaded, looking at him with tired eyes, leaning over the counter with her head resting in the palm of her hand. Looking to be in hard concentration, he looked around and rolled his eyes, his mind was going back and forth. His brain was telling him not to listen, and that they would be able to do this, no breaks just to get their faster.

Then he looked at her, and thought that maybe it wasn't the best, thinking of what she had said about the whole thing and needing rest to perform to the best of their abilities. Looking at her, and seeing her tired eyes reminded him of how tired he was too. Sooner or later, he found himself caving in. "F-Fine." He told her, having small trouble saying it as if he was forcing it out of him, he was. Instantly she felt a bit better knowing that she was going to rest again tonight.

"Thank you." Juliet sighed with relief, like one of her prayers had been answered. Grabbing the paper and folding it back up, he put it in the back of his pocket where it was nice and secure, he wouldn't want to lose it. "Yeah that whole thing was kinda a bad idea..." he confessed looking down while his hands played with some old rubber that had been on the counter for god knows how long, maybe from a tire or something, he didn't really know.

She didn't really expect him to confessed such a thing, so a smile slowly grew on her face, it was a bit of a sly type of smile. More like 'I told you so'. Tom knew that smile and playfully rolled his eyes, she knew she wanted to say something about it. "You were right okay? Overworking ourselves wouldn't be good..." he added over a small moment of silence they spent just slightly laughing at nothing really.

Just seeing that she wasn't really saying anything about it while she still had that stupid grin on her face made him think that she was enjoying this a little too much. She just wanted to remember that he actually said she was right about something. It wasn't much, but she took it, she was definitely basking in the glory. It was some type of honor. She never really thought he would admit it, especially about the whole resting thing, he was pretty on board with resting less and working more.
