"What are you smiling about?" One man who had been keeping watch on her asked, pacing around back and forth a bit nervously, holding his gun with his arms crossed, one hand in his mouth as he was biting his nails. The body of their so called leader was still on the floor, bleeding an endless pool of blood, still filling in the small cracks of the dirty old gravel. A bit of brain matter had reached far enough to Juliet's foot, passing the time, she just squished it with the tip of her shoe.

She found it very amusing knowing what was all that was left of the man. She enjoyed knowing he was practically nothing but something that could just be squished easily by her brown boot. What once was, was no longer there, serves him right. "Oh nothing, just thinking." Juliet said with a shrug of her shoulders, practically smelling the nervousness off of him, he probably didn't like guarding her that much, maybe he was a bit scared of her even though she was tied up. "He's not coming back for you, you know?"

"The only way he's coming back is tied up, so we can kill you both together, have one of you watch the other die and bleed out for a bit. I'll kill him first, in front of you, then torture you for hours. Yes, that does sound nice." Such big talk for someone so on edge. Letting out a small laugh, she cleared her throat. "Okay..." was all she said, in some type of acceptance, only she was thinking of how she could get out of these knots and kill all of them. Who she would kill first, how she would do it. She knew she wanted to kill every last one of them, no survivors, she would make sure of it.

Then she began thinking about Tom which made her nervous, no longer as confident in her murder plan or her wish to massacre these bandits. She was worried for him, wondering if he had made it far enough to stay safe for a while. Now her mind was just on him, she found it hard to put back on her tough act now that she was thinking about his possible death, and his well being. Juliet knew he would come back for her, but she didn't know when. If he wasn't back in a couple hours or so, she figured he would be dead.

She really didn't want him to be dead right now, not just because he promised to come back, but she just really didn't want him to die, she cared about him a lot. Surprising, she truly did realize that she cared about him, the feelings have always been there subconsciously, but it was the first time she let the feeling of caring about him sink in. Believe it or not, it was a very new emotion to her. She cared about Daisy more then anything because she was the only 'person' she knew, even though she was an animal. It was different with a human being.

With her teachers, she knew eventually they were going to die, and she braced herself for the inevitable almost everyday. She was sad when they left her, but it felt less painful, but thinking about loosing Tom, she knew the pain would be much worst because to her, he was way too strong to die so soon. She never knew caring about someone could be such an inconvenience with her own demeanor in this situation. While Juliet wanted to be tough and witty, she was just worried and scared for his well being, Sumo's too.
