After Juliet had opened that door, it had changed a lot, it was like nothing was the same anymore. Tom didn't like it, maybe he was being overdramic but he really didn't like it, but she knew he had to tough it out because they were all going to Georgia, well they were planning to anyways, once Asia was better which would take a few more days. A week had past and it felt like an eternity to him, he still didn't know if he could trust these people. For now, they seemed alright and not threatening, but that could change one day. They could plot against him and Juliet, so it was safe to say he was keeping a close eye on everyone.

Markus hadn't said much, he was mostly in the one bedroom with his daughter, holding her hand, talking to her while Juliet tended to her wound, occasionally taking care of her own as well. He was beyond grateful about Juliet's decision to open the door, and she seemed grateful too. The woman, Amber was really quiet, reserved, and didn't talk much. Tom didn't like that, he hated not knowing what people were thinking, plus she was strong, and looked to handle her self really well. There was always a blank expression on her face, her full plump lips never in a smile or a frown, and her eyes held no expression.

Even though she didn't say much, she didn't seem hostile. Then there was Charlie, the young boy with very light brown hair, lighter than Toms. He was the same age as him, but nothing like him, he was loud, and liked to talk a lot, too much for Tom's liking. Charlie asked questions, made jokes that no one really laughed at and just chatted about nonsense most of the time. Tom really didn't know how the four of them ended up together but here they were, he just had to stick this out for a couple more days and he was home free.

The boy hadn't slept this past week, not at all. He had been to busy keeping an eye on everyone, especially Charlie, just because he seemed childish and annoying didn't mean he was one to be messed with, he was staying up at night too. Just to make sure Tom didn't do anything dumb. The two would sometimes stare each other down, other times they would pretend the other didn't exist. Charlie just didn't want anything to happen to Asia or Mia, Tom felt the same, but he was more so looking out for Juliet who was sleeping, clearly both the boys knew what other men were capable of, now in these days more then ever. They were only just looking out for their female companions.

Tom wished is was just him and Juliet, sure the trip would be longer, but he felt they needed more time together since he would be leaving, now he got less and that made him really sad to say the least. He had been really mad at her, and he still was, but he still wanted more time with her. It felt like they hadn't talked in forever, when in reality it had only been a couple of days. He didn't recall ever being genuinely angry at her like how he was now, but here he was, and he still hated it. The only thing to make it worse was that he didn't know where he stood with her anymore. His guess was probably they were back to being friends.

That night the group of four came over, and everyone was settled down, Juliet had caught Tom in the perfect time where they could talks. "Hey..." she said very quietly approaching him, sitting down right next to him. "Don't 'hey' me." He scolded with a roll of his eyes refusing to look at her, and just kept looking at the ceiling. "I'm sorry, I know you're really mad that I opened the door, it was stupid..." she apologized quietly, but Tom interrupted just as quickly. "Yeah it was dumb. You put yourself in danger, including me and Sumo. Who knows what could've happened if those were the wrong people to let in. You almost got us killed because you were being too idiotic. I thought you were smarter than that."
