Slowly, Tom fluttered his eyes open, his neck and head were aching. His neck felt like he could barley look up and his head was pounding with a burning pain. Still his vision didn't adjust quite yet, he didn't know what he was looking at in this moment. Slowly but surly he grew past the pain and looked straight ahead, turning his head in every direction. With his vision coming back, he felt something wet dripping from his head, looking down, it was indeed blood.

"Finally took you long enough." A man said with a chuckle, dressed in an old leather vest and a dark blue shirt with loose black jeans, his hair was long and dirty blonde with a small beard to top it all off, he looked frail and skinny. "Although the girl isn't up which...is kinda worrying, I hope we didn't hit her too hard." He continued with a very fake look of regret and concern. It took a moment to fully process what he had said but then it had clicked, realizing that Juliet was with him too.

Looking to his right, he finally spotted her, her eyes closed as he body was slump over, tied to a pole just like him. There was a slight gash in her head, a bit of blood coming from it. "Juliet, get up." Tom whispered with worry and urgency in his voice, he wondered if she was just sleeping, or if she wouldn't be able to wake up at all, not knowing that scared him. He tried pulling at the at the tight knots connecting his wrist to the metal pole of a street sign but it was no use.

Looking between the two, the man let out a chuckle and shook his head, as if amused by the boys panic calling for the girl. With a scoff, he made his way to Juliet who was only a couple feet from Tom. Approaching the girl, he crouched down slowly, examining her sleeping face for a while before taking out his knife. "Wake up sleepy head, you've been out for quite some time..." he sang sadisticly, dragging the knife across the side of her face, then to her neck, only he didn't put enough pressure to cut.

Slowly but surely, that did the trick to get her aware to her surroundings. Very confused and dazed, she saw that it was dark outside with the exceptions of some fires burning in trash can bins spread around them, maybe two or three. They were in the middle of a street outside, just some random place in the city, tied to a street sight pole. Seeing her awake made Tom let out a sigh of relief, looking up at the sky for a moment. Seeing Tom just made her worry even more.

"We can't find your critters, they ran off when things went south, guess we won't be getting dinner tonight. Isn't that right guys?" The man said with a laugh, looking around as some others agreed with them in a chuckle and a nod of their head. He was referring to their dogs, whenever they saw a fight they couldn't take, they knew it was best not to actually fight. Tom knew they would be back though, maybe they were staying close by just in case, he couldn't blame them.

"Maybe we can have a little snack though..." another boy spoke with a wicked smile, coming up behind Juliet and touching her shoulder very tenderly. The girl shuttered at the gross contact. "Hey!" Tom shouted with a strong voice, glaring at the boy with dark hair that fell straight on his head, stubble on his face. He was just trying to get his attention away from Juliet, the boy was looking at her like some sort of animal. "What do you want from us?" Tom questioned trying to get straight to the point.
