"You're fine, you're fine." Tom repeated over and over under his breath to her as he carried her to the car, it was more like he was telling that to himself just to calm down. Opening the doors, Daisy and sumo went in first, Sumo going to the pass passenger seat while Daisy sat at the far end in the back. Before putting her down, he threw their bags on the car floor in a hurried panic. "Are you awake?" He asked her, putting her in the back seat, only laying across the seats, he went in as well, holding her up so she wasn't laying down yet. Juliet only nodded very lazy. Her body just wanted to pull her into sleep from the loss of blood and to shelter her from the pain she was feeling. Grabbing an old rag, he pressed it up against the left side on her lower back where the wound was. He searched his backpack and hers for anything they could used, but found little to nothing at the moment. "Just hold it like that. Don't fall asleep, alright?" He told her, holding up her face, getting her blood all over it but they didn't care. "Okay, I got it." Juliet finally spoke.
"Okay just hold it." Tom repeated retreating his hand from hers that was adding pressure to the wound. "I'm gonna drive, and I'm gonna get us out of here." In a swift motion he closed the door to the back seats and strode around to the drivers side. While he looked for a key, he cursed under his breath, hands fumbling around until he finally found it under the little sun visor. Before he put the key into the ignition, he fixed the rear view mirror so that it was pointed towards Juliet.
Pressing on the gas, he backed up, hitting a few revenants behind him, then shifting to go forward. I'm a matter of seconds, they were both getting further and further away from the area, which was a good thing. With this car, they could get to Dallas a lot sooner.

"Fuck." Tom whispered to himself in a small hiss, stopping the car and pulling over on the side of the road. It had been maybe half an hour, and so far Juliet seemed to be doing alright. He made sure to have small talk with her, she would respond, but didn't talk much, Tom just wanted to make sure that she was alright. After a while, he had gotten distracted, both of them did, he was too busy paying attention to what was in front of him while Juliet was hurting in the back of the car. Her whole back ached and the wound burned.
She laid down fully in the back seat with Daisy next to her legs. The next time Tom checked the mirror, Juliet seemed to be out cold, the rag he gave her was already soaked in blood so there was no use for that anymore, that's when he decided to pull over to help her. Taking off his seat belt and getting out of the front seat, he went around the the back and make room for himself, pushing her feet towards her, and making Daisy go down to the car floor.
Tom reached over and grabbed both her arms, pulling her up so she could be seated, she was awake but was a bit unaware of what was happening. "I'm gonna take off your shirt." Tom warned out loud before doing just that, removing what was left of the ripped up piece of fabric. One of the guys back there had torn it with his knife, as well as one bra strap, he was happy he had gotten there when he did. There was so much blood, he didn't know what to do. But it was better not to panic.
