JISUNG POV
The school day had gone past very fastly. During free time they hang out in a big group and talked about everything. Everyone seemed to like Minho even though Hyunjin seemed to have something against him. During one break Jeongin had visited them and told Jisung that he should come straight home from school. They were gonna have a family dinner. Jisung already hated the idea but he invited Felix to a movie night after that and it brought his mood up a lot.
"Honey, dinner is ready!" Jisung heard his mom yelling from the kitchen. He had done his homework while waiting and also prepared his television so that it would be ready when Felix came. Even though he knew picking out the movie would take at least half an hour. While walking downstairs he heard his parents arguing about something. He couldn't hear clearly so he just decided to walk there. "Oh hi sweetie, sit down. Where is Jeongin?" his mother asked. "I have no idea for real. He went to shower a while ago maybe he's not ready yet. I can go and get him." Jisung answered and his mother nodded. He walked back upstairs and stopped on Jeongins door when he heard talking. "Okay, babe I really gotta go now. My family is waiting for me. Yep, love you too." he heard Jeongin saying. Jisung was totally shook since he had no idea that Jeongin was dating someone. He knocked on the door and Jeongin encouraged him to open the door. "So, who's the lucky one?" Jisung asked immediately. His little brother looked shocked because hadn't realized Jisung had heard something. "I heard only your last sentence, don't worry. I just wanna know if they are worthy of you." he continued. "Okay so, I'm not gonna tell who it is yet. But I can tell you she is the sweetest ever and you'll like her a lot." Jeongin answered and went past Jisung to walk downstairs.
"So boys how has your school week been?" their father tried to fire up the conversation. Neither of them answered anything special. They just nodded and said that the week had been pretty basic. It absolutely hadn't been basic but that's the answer you give to your parents. "We have something to tell you." he continued after their answers, "Now that your mother is back we have thought about things. We have two options for you boys. Either all of us move to Malaysia or your mother and I move there. That would mean your grandmother would live with you at least until Jisung is 18." Jisung hadn't waited for anything like that. He was sure he wouldn't want to go to Malaysia and said immediately: "I'm not leaving. I want to stay here until my school is over. Also which grandmother are you talking about?" Jeongin nodded hardly to support Jisungs opinion and he also wanted to know which grandmother was in question. Their mothers' mother Joo-Eun was extremely strict and whenever they visited her it felt like a trip to the army. Their fathers' mother was the opposite of that. Grandmom Moon is the sweetest thing. She loves baking and cooking and is also surprisingly young-minded and understands quite well what's going on in their lives. "Oh boys, wouldn't either one be okay? But it's my mother who would be here. Grandmom Moon with her dog Starry." their father answered while smiling widely. They continued on talking about whether the boys staying in Korea was a good idea. Eventually, Jisung was able to convince their father about it. But then their mother opened her mouth after being quiet the whole time.
"I know I haven't been here for too long. That's why I hope you would come with us to Malaysia. I've missed you, boys, for way too long and to lose you again, sounds awful. Also, do you want to put grandma Moon on strain? Can you even take care of yourselves at all?" their mother explained. Jisung couldn't believe his ears. He had just justified for fifteen minutes with Jeongin on why they should stay behind. Now their mother was basically making them feel guilty for thinking themselves first. It wasn't their fault she was leaving again because she could've found a great job back in Korea too. "Well, mother. It isn't our fault that you haven't been here with us until now. And to be honest I haven't felt like I knew you the whole time you have now been here. It might be selfish for us to stay but since we have the option I really want to stay. We have our whole lives here. Also, the education here is better and I want to do something big one day. Also, how would you know if we're able to take care of ourselves? You haven't lived with us since we've been little kids. I'm not saying we're adults now but we can take care of ourselves. Grandmom Moon wouldn't stay here with us if she didn't want to. She understands us. You shouldn't put us on a guilt trip because of things you've done or rather haven't done." Jisung said in an overly calm tone and left the table and walked to his room. There he took his pillow and screamed at it.
He felt as if his brains were about to explode. There was just way too much going on right now. Everything he had talked about with Minho, his friend group was molding itself again, Jeongin was dating someone, their parents were leaving Korea and leaving them behind and also their mother was guilt-tripping them.
