MINHO POV

The doorbell rang and he woke up to it. He shook his head quickly to wake up properly and walked to the door. Jisung was standing behind the door with a bouquet of beautiful flowers. "I thought these might cheer you up a bit," he said and hugged Minho quickly. Minho thanked him and invited him inside. The trip to the funeral site would take them almost an hour with a taxi and Minho had already ordered a taxi to 11:45 AM.

"How are you feeling?" Jisung asked him while sitting down on the sofa. Minho just thought to himself about how good Jisung looked in his black suit. It was a magnificent fit. "Well, I barely slept last night. But luckily I was able to sleep a bit before you came," he answered while smiling slightly. "Are you sure you want to come with me? It's not too late to back off," Minho offered Jisung. He just shook his head and laughed out loud: "If you really think I would take back my promise at this point you don't really know me."

It was time for them to leave for the funeral and they walked down to the taxi. They were quiet most of the trip. A few times Jisung pointed out places where he had spent time as a child or told a few cute stories about his childhood. Minho didn't talk too much but he was glad to listen to Jisung talking. At those moments he wasn't able to think about seeing his relatives and grandmothers friends.

They arrived at a little church in a small town beside Seoul. Minho's grandmother had grown up there and both of her parents were buried there. His father was also buried there. There were a whole lot of cars in the parking lot, which made sense since Minho's grandmother had been very friendly and had a lot of friends. Minho was just sitting in the taxi and he felt like he wasn't able to get out of the car. He was shaking and when he saw her mother in front of the church he basically fell to the taxi's floor. Jisung took his hand and squeezed it gently. "You can do this. You're not alone," were the only words he said to Minho. That was all that Minho needed. He didn't feel lonely at that moment and he built up enough courage to get out of the taxi.

When they were standing outside Jisung wasn't touching Minho since he had requested that. Minho wasn't ready to answer any awkward questions about what they were to each other. Just the feeling that Jisung was nearby was enough for him. "Are you ready to go?" Jisung asked him and signaled towards the church. Minho nodded and started walking with slow weak steps. Jisung walked right beside him the whole time and he wasn't planning on leaving anywhere.

The walk to the church felt like a few kilometers even though it was only a few meters. The church was small and pretty. It had a lot of beautiful details in it. They walked to the front row of the row of seats. Minho nodded to quite a few people and sat down next to an older sophisticated-looking lady. "My condolences Minho. Your grandmother was a great lady. How are you doing sweetheart?" the lady asked. Minho knew that she was one of grandmother's oldest friends who she had known for decades. She had always been nice to him and it felt good to sit next to her. "Thank you for being here Mrs. Yang. I'm grieving over my grandmother but otherwise, I'm doing well. What about you?" Minho said with the most polite manners.

JISUNG POV

He had been following Minho the whole time and kept an eye on him. If there was a moment Minho didn't feel good, Jisung would be ready to comfort him in any way. The older lady Mrs. Yang had also asked him who he was. Jisung had politely told her that he was a friend of Minho's and he was there to support his friend. She was very nice and didn't ask any further questions. Then the ceremony started.

The priest talked a lot and with long words. Jisung hadn't been in a church since he was a little kid. It was kind of fascinating to listen to all the praying and preaching. There were few people talking about Minho's grandmother and she seemed like a really nice person. Very genuine and good-natured. Even though Jisung had heard stories about her that didn't really support this point of view he was sure that Minho liked the ceremony a lot.  Mrs. Yang shed quite a few tears during the ceremony and especially when Minho's mother was talking. Minho however looked more disgusted than touched. He was squeezing his fists very tightly together and he looked almost angry. Jisung put his hand on top of Minho's hand during his mothers' speech. He heard Minho sighing deeply and his shoulders relaxed a bit.

After the ceremony, everyone put some flowers on the coffin and the men lifted the coffin up and carried it to the graveyard. Everyone followed it and family members went right next to the grave. Jisung stayed back a bit and let Minho go there alone. He heard Minho whispering something before throwing the last flower on the coffin. Then he left the place and grabbed Jisung's hand. They walked further away from the place. That's when Minho shed his first tears at the whole funeral. Jisung just hugged him and stroke his back the whole time. It didn't take too long before Minho had calmed down and they started walking towards the parking lot. There Mrs. Yang caught them and said: "Hey, I'm having a little coffee moment for your grandmother. I'd love for you and your friend to come there. It's a rather small gathering." Jisung glanced at Minho and Minho was almost speechless. Jisung took the matters into his own hands and answered: "Thank you. We'll visit there quickly before going back to Seoul."
