MINHO POV

Minho was at home getting ready for dinner with Chan. He had already showered and cleaned up the apartment since he had been supposed to do that for days. After feeding the cats he decided to call Chan. Right, when he was about to call him he heard to doorbell rang. He went to open the door and found Chan behind the door. "Hey, I was just about to call you!" Minho said happily and invited Chan in. "Oh, you're in a good mood, I see. Where should we go and eat?" he answered while smiling happily. Chan had been worried about Minho and he had felt bad that he had been busy and couldn't be there enough for Minho during these hard times. "I'd love me some sushi. Should we go downtown and have some in the popular place? Near the cafe, we used to go back in the days?" Minho suggested and Chan approved immediately. Sushi was always a great choice.

They rode a bus to get to the sushi place. After ordering a few plates of different kinds of sushis they talked about everything in general. Chan apologized for being so busy lately and Minho made sure that he didn't feel bad about that. "No need to worry, Jisung had been there for me and you have done just enough. I'm glad you're pursuing your dreams and not living in the past." Minho said and was completely genuine. "So Jisung and you. Are you guys hitting it off for real? You've spent a lot of time together. Do you have feelings for him?" Chan asked straightforward. Minho had almost forgotten how frankly Chan always spoke. However, he never said anything rude. He just didn't want there to be any misunderstandings between them. "To be honest, I do have feelings for him. I've never met a person who thinks like him, he's such a unique person. Also, we have the same taste in movies, food etc. And the fact that he was ready to help someone he barely knew is amazing to me. He isn't afraid to talk about his feelings at all and he always makes me laugh like no tomorrow. He's just special and I feel really fortunate to even have him as a friend." Minho answered and smiled the whole time while talking about Jisung. "You really do like him. I've never seen you like that about anyone. Maybe you should something about it. Tell him how you feel," Chan urged him.

That was a thing Minho had been thinking about for a while already. He just wanted to see how the funeral goes and wanted to say goodbye to his grandmother first. It was one part for him on respecting her. She had always made clear that she didn't support homosexuals and she thought it was a sin. Minho knew his grandmother had been raised strictly as a Christian and that's why this didn't surprise him at all. When she lived, he didn't have an opportunity to talk about these things with her. Now he felt like he was free and was able to do what he wanted, at least after he really said goodbye. "I'll do that when the time is right. First I must say goodbye to my grandmother and also get my head together. Before that, I would just be a burden to him." Minho said to Chan with a low voice. Chan knew what Minho meant, nodded, and added: "Just don't wait for too long. I'm sure he'll be able to share your burden and you wouldn't weigh him down too much.

After that Chan told him everything about the fact that he had been working on some music with Bambam and Yugyeom for a while. There had also been other people involved and Chan was thinking about asking Changbin if he wanted to do something with them since he had heard Changbin is really talented. Minho said he could give Chan Changbins number so that he could contact him easily. They chatted about this and that for a few hours before Minho left for his house and Chan left to see Bambam.

At home, Minho decided that once everything with the funeral and Jisung's parents leaving was over, he would tell him about his feelings. Even thinking about that made him feel anxious and excited at the same time. "What if he doesn't feel the same way?" was one of the most frequent thoughts on Minho's head at that point.
