MINHO POV

The last week and a half had felt like he was living in a constant fog. However, having Jisung and Chan helping him through, didn't feel too bad. Jisung had supported him a lot and they had also continued on working on their project because the due date was getting closer and closer all the time. Slowly Minho was starting to feel more like himself again. Obviously, he had loved his grandmother and her death felt bad. Somehow he also understood that this was one burden away from him. He had felt for the longest time that he had to act in a way that her grandmother wouldn't be disappointed in him.

Earlier in the day, they had been in the school and somehow Jisung's father had made his mother understand that Jisung should also be able to live his own life. Even before they'd leave for Malaysia. That's why Jisung was now hanging out with Minho and they were watching a dumb horror movie, which Jisung was terrified of. Half of the time he was covering his eyes or yelling at the characters. Minho thought that was endearing. Sometimes Jisung even grabbed Minho's hand while he was scared and it always made his heart flutter like crazy. Minho had realized he was catching feelings for Jisung at a pretty fast pace.

"Hey, should we order something to eat?" Minho asked Jisung suddenly. Jisung looked like he was pondering something before saying: "I have an even better idea. Let's walk to the small store in the corner and bake some pancakes. Wouldn't that be fun?" For Minho that sounded at the same time a hell on earth and something that would probably be hella fun. "Yeah, why not. Let's go already!" he said while smiling widely and got up from the sofa.

JISUNG POV

That was the first time Minho had smiled like he used to smile before after his grandmother's passing. It made Jisung feel immediately better and he basically jumped up and ran to put his shoes on. "Okay now for the serious question. Are we doing plane pancakes or with something. Like blueberry or chocolate chips?" he asked while they were walking to the store. "Whatever you like the most. Wait, let me guess. Chocolate chips?" Minho answered while laughing. "YES, anything is better with chocolate. I also recommend we buy some strawberries we can eat them with," Jisung said excitedly. Minho just nodded to him while grinning widely.

Their trip to the store took over half an hour because they were messing around in the store and deciding on what chocolate to buy took Jisung forever. He finally decided to buy both white and milk chocolate. That combo would be better than anything. While walking back to Minho's apartment they stopped in a small corridor to take a few cute photos of each other. They turned out extremely good and they shared them on Instagram immediately. Then it was time for them to try and make some pancakes.

On the store, Jisung had proposed they'd buy the ready pancake mix so that they should only add some liquids. Minho was more than happy about that plan. Baking pancakes with that should be pretty easy but they had way too much fun while making them. The first ones they tried to fry burned and Jisung accidentally dropped one of them to the floor. There was also way too much chocolate in the batter since you were barely able to see anything else than the chocolates. That wasn't a bad mistake, at least Jisung enjoyed it a lot. Minho also dropped the wooden spoon a little too roughly to the batter and a whole lot of it flew right onto Jisung's face. They were laughing like crazy when Jisung decided to revenge and put some of the batters on the tip of Minho's nose.

When they finally were finished baking the pancakes they sat down to eat them. The kitchen was a whole mess but it didn't bother them at all. Right at that moment, the pancakes with more than enough chocolate and also strawberries were the best thing they could've imagined. "I'm exhausted but these are delicious!" Jisung praised their work. "You are absolutely right. These could've used a bit more chocolate though," Minho said giggling. "Well, you're not completely wrong. Is it even possible that there could be too much chocolate in anything," Jisung answered and giggled too.

After they had eaten all of the pancakes and cleaned up after themselves Jisung realized he should probably head home since they were having an early morning breakfast among the family the next morning. "Hey, I gotta go now. Thanks for making pancakes with me. Have fun tomorrow with Channie!" Jisung said to Minho before leaving. "No problem. Thank you for making me forget about everything for a while. I'll have fun. You should try and endure the breakfast with your family." Minho answered and shut the door behind Minho.
