JISUNG POV
It was Saturday and the next day his parents would leave for Malaysia. Also, Minho's grandmother's funeral would be the next day. Jisung had felt overwhelmed by all of this for a while already and Jeongin had clearly noticed that. He came to Jisung's room and sat down on his chair. "Hey Jisung, you okay?" Jeongin asked. "I feel somehow so guilty about not being able to come to the airport tomorrow. Mom will be so sad about that and I feel like I'll disappoint him. We don't even know when we'll see them the next time." Jisung poured out. He had been in his thoughts a lot lately and this had been one of his biggest concerns. Jeongin looked worried and tried to comfort his brother saying: "I'm sure she'll understand. You can tell her how you feel tomorrow morning before they leave. Being there for your friend is way more important in a case like this."
Jisung had tried to tell himself that Minho needed him way more than his parents at this point. His father had said it was okay but mom hadn't mentioned the whole thing at all. He was sure they would be able to talk about all of this tomorrow but what if his parents left while being sad about their sons' actions? Jisung had a habit of thinking way too much and this was one of those cases. Thinking about what bad could happen to his parents on their way to Malaysia made him anxious and he didn't want to separate from them in a bad way. They had talked that Jeongin and Jisung should visit them in Malaysia as soon as possible but their school wouldn't make it easy.
Adjusting to the new situation had already started a few days ago when grandmom Moon had moved in with them. She was the sweetest thing but she was everywhere all the time. Most of the time she spent in the kitchen baking something or she sat in the living room watching a quiz show. More than once she had also barged in Jisung's room just to see what he was doing. Jisung already knew they should set some basic rules for the house after their parents had left so that their living would be as nice as possible.
"So how are you doing with your girlfriend?" Jisung asked Jeongin. Jeongin blushed a little before saying: "It's going really well honestly. I've thought about bringing him here for dinner someday. I'm sure grandmom would like that. You know how fond she is on regaling guests." Jisung was so happy that Jeongin was doing so well. But to think of it Jeongin had always been the one who came along with everyone and was good at basically everything he tried. So it wasn't a big surprise that his dating life was also going better than well. "What about you and this Minho guy?" Jeongin asked while smirking. "I have no idea what you're talking about." Jisung tried to defend himself. He had never told to his family that he was interested both in girls and boys. His family knew for sure even though he hadn't told but his grandmother didn't know. She always asked him about girlfriends and Jisung hadn't had one so he had been able to answer genuinely to that question.
"Hey, Jisung. I know you're into him. I've never seen you act like that with anyone before and it can't be just a friendship because I know Felix and you're like two peas in a pod but you don't act like that even with him." Jeongin continued. He wasn't giving up for sure. "Well, to be honest, I do like Minho. I'm just not sure if he feels the same way about me. We haven't been able to talk about things like this yet because of everything going on with his life. And you know how broken I am mentally so I'm not sure if I want to be a burden like that to him." Jisung finally answered honestly. Jeongin looked quite shocked at his answer and hugged Jisung. Jisung didn't expect that from him because he didn't like skinship too much. "You are not a burden. Just tell him how you feel and I'm sure he'll feel the same way. And there's nothing to lose." Jeongin reassured him.
