Chapter 15: Trunks' Resolve

The next morning, Kagome woke up from the sun that brights into her face through the curtain. She rolled her head over and saw Shippo sleeping next to her. She couldn't help but smile before she got off the bed and was ready to have another train with Vegeta and Future Trunks.

She went to the bathroom to change the same outfits as before. After she was done changing her dress, she brushed her hair and made it prettier than she had it last night. When she was done brushing her hair, she stared at herself in the mirror with reflections, knowing how pretty she was.

"Looking good just as ever, Kagome." She said to herself, blowing a kiss and striding out of the room, but she left the letter for Shippo, so he'll know where she's at.

Within a few minutes, she made it to the forest Vegeta and Future Trunks could meet her there. However, when she sensed their auras from her direction, she made it to the training grounds and found Future Trunks sparring with his father, seeing Super Saiyan Blue for the first time.

"Whoa! What level is that!?" Future Trunks exclaimed, shockingly.

Vegeta smirked. "That is called Super Saiyan Blue."

"Super Saiyan Blue, huh?" Kagome said loudly as the boys could her from behind. They spun around and saw her approaching them.

Vegeta smirked at her. "Kagome, you made it in time."

Future Trunks couldn't help but smile. "Kagome, you're here! We're sorry we haven't woken you up."

Kagome smiled. "That's okay, Trunks. I thought maybe I would like to take a walk before meeting you boys here."

"Okay. Well, you are welcome to train with us." Future Trunks said, smiling.

"Can we train now? I don't want to see you two talking romantically in front of me." Vegeta teased, smirking.

They blushed heavily, glancing at each others' eyes.

"No! We are not in love!" Kagome shouted, embarrassed.

Future Trunks looked away. "Me neither! I only like Mai better!"

"I don't see what you two are blushing, but how about we get to business, shall we?" Vegeta said.

Future Trunks stayed focused as he prepared for training and so was Kagome. The two clenched their fists tightly as they faced Vegeta.

Vegeta stared at the young priestess. "Kagome, how about you can show me your 'Legendary Super Miko' power? I just hope you'll learn how to control it."

"Legendary Super Miko?" Future Trunks was confused.

Kagome glanced away with a sweatdrop. "I don't know, but I'll probably lose control if I unleash it unspeakably."

Vegeta frowned. "Listen, Kags." He commented sharply as Kagome was told, "If you surpass your limits in the Legendary Super Miko state, your hair will glow and your veins will bulge as well which will lead you to the version of your Miko power."

"How do you know? Did Goku tell you before I regained my unconscious?" Kagome asked.

He nodded. "He did tell me as I realized you are the true priestess. However, get to it, Kags! Let me see your true power."

"Okay," Kagome said. She stood straight, clenching her fists tightly then started to scream out with each echo when the power flowed within her body. Within a few seconds, her hair floated when it turned lilac and her eyes turned purple. Her whole has built up with muscles that her veins flood with blood.

Future Trunks was shocked. "Incredible...!" It was just like when Gohan has gone Super Saiyan Two way back there...!

Vegeta smirked. "There you have it. You can control yourself with your Miko power. Now let's see if we can train together before we could go to the future and then fight off with Black."

Kagome smirked. "As you wish."

When everything was going on, Goku sensed their energy power from the forest. He noticed it was Kagome, Vegeta, and Trunks, so he asked Bulma to come with him and then teleported her to the forest, which scares her every time Goku does that. When they arrived, they saw Vegeta was disappointed and angry with Future Trunks who believed that Saiyans should continually strive to grow stronger and not only when enemies present themselves.

Bulma began to interrupt them, "Stop! He's been through a lot!" She shouted as Goku grabbed her by the shoulders.

"Just let them do this. It's okay!" Goku promised his best friend, "It may seem harsh, but it's how Saiyans are worse."

Goku glanced at his eyes and saw Kagome was interrupting Vegeta as well. "Vegeta, stop it! He's your son!" She shouted, "You can't just tell him that! You'll make him all worse than that!"

Vegeta glared at Kagome, "Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to him!" He shouted back then looked back at Goku and Bulma as he turned back to his base form with black hair and onyx eyes, "And you two! What are you doing here?" When he pushed Future Trunks away, he didn't know what happens next.

Kagome noticed Future Trunks attacked his father when he hit him in the forehead, which made him grunt in pain. The three were shocked. Kagome knew that Vegeta was pissed.

"Damn you!" Vegeta shouted as he froze and realized Future Trunks looked happier. They thought he was going on berserk, but Kagome knew he didn't want to hurt him.

"So that counts as landing a blow, right?" Future Trunks said, staring down at Vegeta, "I guess that means I win."

He glared, gritting his teeth a bit. Kagome couldn't help but laugh as Future Trunks smiled lightly. So he laughed back, joining in with Kagome.

Then Kagome walked towards Vegeta and raised her left, "Here, let me help you." She said as he accepted her offer. Goku watched her helping Vegeta stand up as the two looked at each other which made Goku feel jealous.

Vegeta smirked. "Kags. Oh, and by the way, great job there."

Kagome smiled. "Thanks."

"I hear you and I will get stronger." Future Trunks said, "Stronger than Black and stronger than you."

He instantly glared at him and then walked away from them, leaving them in shock. Future Trunks bowed down as they blinked at seeing him doing. Of course, Vegeta didn't turn around and see it.

Thank you, Father, Future Trunks thought, smiling, for everything.

Then Goku began to interrupt Kagome as he placed his hand on her shoulder. "Hey, Kagome." He said happily, "Do you want to come with me?"

"Sure. Why?"

"Because I'm going to meet up with Lord Beerus and Whis if you mind coming with me," Goku said.

Kagome sighed then smiled. "Okay. I'm coming with you."

"Okay!" Goku exclaimed happily as he took Kagome's hand and then used his instant transformation technique to teleport to Lord Beerus' planet, leaving Bulma and Future Trunks alone in the woods.

Future Trunks stayed quiet, smiling. "I wonder if Goku likes Kagome." He said to himself before he and his mother headed back home.
