So today is the day of the baby shower and we're at our parents house getting ready also waiting on people to show up. I grabbed a couple of clothes from the closet and laid them out on the bed so Eloise could pick them out.
"You team boy or team girl?" I asked Eloise
"Mhmm boy"
okay you want a dress or a shirt or overalls?"
"Shirt"
"Pants skirt or shorts?"
"Shorts"
"Okay," I picked out a blue shirt and some blue jean shorts, I helped Eloise get dressed before I did her hair.

"Put on your shoes ima go check on mama" I kissed her forehead before walking to the bathroom to see Cassie putting on her makeup.
"How you doing in here"
"Good kinda nervous"
"Me too," I kissed her lips before kissing her baby bump over her really pretty royal blue dress. Eloise and Cassie were team boy and I was team girl because c'mon Eloise is adorable.

"You look so pretty," I planted light kisses on her neck.
"Mommy I got my shoes on"
"On the right feet?" I made sure
"okay baby you can go play outside just don't make a mess and no candy until it starts"
"Okay fineee"

"She's definitely your daughter"
"With her little bad ass"
"She's not bad," she laughed.
"Sometimes she is"
After waiting for a little while everybody showed up, we played games and ate some bomb ass food, Eloise wouldn't stop bugging me about some fucking candy.
"Mommyyyy," Eloise whined holding onto my leg.
"Are you gonna let go or am I going to take you with me"
