Insert (y/n) into that gif instead of Mal ^ - not as long of a chapter, but we have a song so it compensates!

Your POV

By the time we got back from the mall, Harry had already left for his room. Uma borrowed my phone once again to send Johnny a message as Maya and I changed into our nightwear.

I refreshed my messages incessantly, hoping for a reply before we went to bed, but once again, nothing came. Does he remember nothing of what I expressed to him today? It's 11:30, there's nowhere he can be out this late... and his do not disturb isn't on yet, so he's not asleep. Unless he's still with Ruby... but that doesn't make much sense. How long would they paint for?

I slept with no satisfaction of seeing his reply.

Subconsciously, I could feel it coming again - but this time, I didn't want it to. This dream has been making me go mad ever since I got it, and has caused nothing but trouble. Whatever my memories, or my bracelet, or some magic force is trying to tell me - I don't want to know. Not if it's dangerous.

I couldn't prevent it though. Once again, the storyline was the same. Board the carpet, realize how young mom and baba looked, get off the carpet at Hook's Bay, recognize literally everyone from the Isle and Auradon at this "gathering", and see the Jolly Roger. Only this time, it was much closer to the beach. And that's where it all disappears, and I wake up gasping. I cannot keep doing this ugh! Why can't I be left alone?

A few more nights, and I'll see what happens once it docks. I thought in resignation. And I can't stop it from happening, whatever it is.

It was still the dead of night, but I got up with the intention of returning the spellbook to Mal. As much as I want to know... I don't.

As I got up to leave with it, something felt like it was pulling me back. Every step forward I was met with resistance, every step closer to my bed I was pushed in the direction, barely needing any effort. What is it this time?

I followed the forces and groaned when I saw where it was taking me. To the bottom of my side table drawer. Where I kept my bracelet. What do you want?

I left the room after grabbing my new cape and ran deep into Fortuna - eerily lit by the white moonlight -, bracelet in one hand, spellbook in the other. Here I am, alone now.

"What do you want from me?!" I questioned out loud, the desperation of my voice masked by the trees and hidden from the world. "I'm alone now. I'm alone." I whispered.

[Time for a power solo! Here's "Into the Unknown" from Frozen II with a few changed lyrics:) I've also added little notes in brackets next to some lines, just to show specific connections to the story]

Ah ah oh oh oh

Ah ah oh oh oh oh oh oh

I can sense you but I won't

Some look for trouble while others don't  (*referencing Harry's warning*)

There's a thousand reasons I should go about my day

And ignore your whispers which I wish would go away, oh oh oh

Ah ah oh oh

Oh oh

Ah ah oh oh

You're not a force

You're just a ringing in my ear
