This is another "linking" chapter that does a bit more explaining than action, but it's enjoyable nonetheless :) - also, none of you correctly guessed who the figure was!

Your POV

As he came into view, I was relieved - not because of who it was, but because of who it wasn't.

Chad looked me up and down, confused. "What's got you in such a state?" He asked, almost seeming to care.

"Nothing, I'm fine." I frowned as I thought about him being up at this time. "Why are you up at this time? Coming from the girls' dorms?" I suppose I must seem weird coming from outside at this time, but I have a reason. What could his be...?

"No reason. Audrey and I just broke up, that's all."

"I thought you already were...?"

"Well, she made it clear this time."

"At 3 AM." I suspiciously noted.

"It's 2:30. And yeah, she's a night owl. Light sleeper."

Those aren't even correlated. "I find that hard to believe. But I'm exhausted, so, good night."

"It really is good morning, now."

"Good morning, whatever. Bye Chad."

He bowed and headed in his direction.

I closed my eyes as I lay on my bed, picturing the day - not that long ago - that Harry and I travelled to Motunui. Why is the year seeming to pass by so fast?

Honestly, Lydia issues were better than this. At least then I could put a face to all the trouble. This time, I'm being terrorized, and I don't even know by what!

Never mind, I take that back. I wouldn't wish for another Lydia situation, whatever this problem may be.

It wasn't long before morning came and I could finally share my plan with the others.

I decided to tell Uma and Maya first thing, then get Uma to tell Harry and Kai while I found Johnny and let him know... while also asking him about his whereabouts last night.

"Uma, Uma wake up!" Nothing. "Come on, Uma, I have something to tell you!"

Maya was already rolling out of bed, and thankfully Uma woke shortly after.

I waited for them to get dressed for school before beginning.

"Okay, guys, I have some super exciting news!"

"What is it?" Maya's excitement made up for Uma's lack of it.

"I think I found a way for Uma and Johnny to meet. Something totally foolproof, if executed properly." I glanced back and forth between them for a reaction. "So? Do you want to hear what it is?"

"(Y/N), you've had so many ideas in the past while, and we've found a plot hole with each one." Uma sighed.

"Ugh, your apprehension troubles me!" I exclaimed. "That might have been the case before, but my other plans didn't involve magic, did they?"

"Magic?" This was enough to convince Maya of its incredibility.

"Go on," I could see a smile tugging at Uma's lips.

Satisfied, I began to tell them about the spellbook, and how I obtained it - leaving out anything to do with the dreams, for now.

"--And last night when I was flipping through it, I found a - super simple - invisibility spell! Now, I'm thinking that if Friday evening I go to Johnny's room, as usual, to say goodnight - and make it completely obvious he's staying there as usual - just as I'm leaving, the door stays open enough for him to come out. Invisible, of course. Anyone watching would think he's inside, and Sil should be oblivious enough to not care about Johnny's whereabouts. With this, as long as Johnny sticks to me like glue, no one could know he's there! We then walk to our dorm, get in, and then we're in the safe! Later, for emphasis, when Kai and Harry are arriving, they can make a comment about how Johnny couldn't make it tonight, which will totally throw anyone who was suspicious off. What do you think?"

"You believe this can work? What about the spell? Have you even tried it before?"

"Well, no, but it shouldn't be too hard! And it's written that I can turn it off or on, so it's not like it will run out!" As long as I have enough energy to maintain it...

"Apart from the fact that I'd be more comfortable if you practiced it before Friday, it seems sound! This could actually work!" Uma pulled me into an embrace, and Maya joined.

"Kay, let's not be late for school - we still have that chemistry test today." I laughed.

"How could I forget?" Uma rolled her eyes.

Apart from a glance in Harry's direction, I still couldn't get a chance to talk to him, and then at lunch, I went for a walk with Johnny, leaving us separated once again.

Johnny wasn't entirely on board with the idea, but the fact that I had already told Uma and given her hope ensured he went through with it.

"I certainly won't be the reason it doesn't happen." He concluded.

"Then don't be. Trust me on this, if there's one thing I can do, it's magic. Why not use the resources we have?"

"Yeah, you're right. Friday evening, then?"

"Yes, Friday." We continued on in the front yard, bundled up in coats due to the decreasing temperature. "Um, can I ask where you were last night?"

"You know I was with Ruby - did you forget?"

"No I remember, it's just that Uma sent you another message last night."

"Really, when?"

"11:30."

"Oh, I must have missed it. I was still with Ruby at that time, things got late and then I put my phone away without checking it before bed."

"Wow, it did get late." I looked away from him and quickly added. "Were you painting the Sistine Chapel, or..?"

"Oh come on (y/n)! You know me better than that!" Johnny groaned, ruffling his hair. "Ruby is perfect, okay? She's like something out of my dreams. But I'm not attracted to her. It's like... like me and you."

"Fine, I get it. But you have to admit, when we first met--" I was semi-insinuating something to get a reaction, not sure how true my words really were.

"(Y/N), nothing came of it, right? We're both best friends, and that's what I meant by it."

"I know, I'm just joking Johnny."

We began to head back in time for our afternoon classes, and I realized I wouldn't see Johnny again until Friday evening, when the plan was in action. I really hope this works... I pretend to be so sure of it when I'm with my friends because I don't want to stress them out... but that just means all the stress is put on me.

After school, it seemed like everyone was caught up in their own affairs, so I found myself walking back to the dorms alone. I should probably try out the invisibility spell tonight, there's not much time before it's the real deal.

"Managed to get the spellbook, eh? How'd you do it?" A perky voice came up from behind me, causing me to immediately grin, my heart beating faster.

The next chapter is very sweet, I can't wait to see you next week!

Also, what did everyone think about the Mal & Ben's Royal Wedding (Animated Special) announcement? I was hoping for a live action, and it doesn't seem like Harry's going to be in the special, so I'm sort of disappointed :(
