Meeting the parents xd (I found this Agrabah concept art pretty cool ^)

Your POV

At the first sight of Mom and Baba, I ran to them, jumping in their arms. "Oh, I missed you so much!"

They both hugged me tight, echoing what I said.

"The palace wasn't the same without you, darling." Mom put her hand on my shoulder.

"Far too quiet. I hated it." Baba added. "And look, someone's been missing you."

"Abu!" I exclaimed, ecstatic to see him. He quickly transferred from Baba's arms to mine, jittery in excitement. "Is Raja inside?"

"Sleeping right now, he just had his lunch." Mom brushed her hair off her shoulders. "You know how lazy he can be, and since you've been gone..."

"Mom, Baba - this is Harry!" I turned back and motioned to Harry to walk over, who was seeming uncomfortably out of place as we were reuniting.

Harry came over slowly, maintaining eye contact with only me. What does he have to be worried about? His own father's semi-loony, at least mine won't scare him.

"Hey, Harry. It's wonderful that you could come over, son." Baba stuck a hand out for Harry to - awkwardly - shake.

"It's so nice to meet you, I can't believe I'm actually shaking hands with..."

"Just call me Aladdin, Harry - no need for formalities." Baba grinned. "Unless you want to call me Prince Ali."

"Baba!" I rolled my eyes. "He's joking, if you can't tell," I informed Harry.

Next my mom approached Harry, but with far less stiffness than Baba. She instantly pulled him into a hug, all royal mannerisms thrown to the side. "You can call me whatever you'd like, Harry."

Harry was taken aback at first but quickly embraced her too. She held on for long too, confusing me as to what she was waiting for.

"Wow, seems like they've forgotten about us, huh, Abu?" I spoke to the bouncy monkey who was eyeing a banana hanging from a branch above us. "Oh, go on then. Abandon me too." I chuckled semi-bitterly as Abu jumped up to grab the fruit.

"We're so happy to see you. Why did you take so long to visit?" Mom asked rhetorically, still comforting Harry. Knowing Harry, this much love from a parental like figure might just make him cry.

They finally pulled away, and Mom walked alongside him. "Come on, we'll show you your room. Forgive us, we didn't exactly have much notice to get it set up properly." Mom looked back at me, and I got the message.

I called Carpet over with our luggage and followed them into our palace.

I jumped - and screamed a little - at a tap on my shoulder. I spun around, and of course, it was Genie.

"Still jumpy as ever, (y/n)." Genie laughed.

"At least she didn't scare-punch you!" Harry called back at us.

"Really, is she even more paranoid back in Auradon? I'd love to see little (y/n) scare-punch some poor friend of hers." Genie was thrilled to hear things I would never tell him from Harry.

"I've witnessed it on multiple occasions - you don't want to be on the other end of it." He continued on.

"Okay, I think we've had enough of that." I intervened. I motioned for Genie to fall back a bit with me, while Baba and Mom went on ahead with Harry. "Genie, I did not appreciate that stunt you pulled earlier at all! That was so... ugh, so embarrassing!"
