Your POV (Direct continuation from last part :))

"Sure, Harry!" Uma felt honoured - she didn't seem to think she was as obvious of a choice as I did.

"We could come too, Harry." Johnny offered, looking at me.

"Nah, I don't want to cut this short for everyone. Take your time." Harry looked at me with the hidden message.

As if I'd forget, Harry. I shook my head at him with a "Seriously? Subtle."

"I actually have something I want to talk with Johnny about, so go ahead," I confirmed.

Johnny was confused but didn't probe in front of everyone. He knew if I said I wanted to speak with him, it meant just him.

Harry and Uma wasted no time in leaving, and I offered them Carpet so that they'd get to school faster.

I sat down close beside Johnny on the blanket, who was keenly staring at the now-rough waters of Hook's Bay.

"Odd place, right?"

"Yeah." He laughed. "It does have a certain beauty to it, though."

"Hm."

"What? You could see beauty in the Isle and not Hook's Bay? You confuse me sometimes, (y/n)." Johnny gave me a look, lightly puzzled, but not thinking much of it.

"It's complicated. I just... I need to ask you something."

"Anything." He sensed my tone and stopped joking.

"I really can't put this into words - I don't know the right way to go about something like this."

"It's me, (y/n). Johnny. You don't have to think about what's "right" with me, you can say or ask whatever you feel." He placed his hand on top of mine.

"You shouldn't be cross with me. That's the one thing I fear, Johnny." I tried my best not to allow my emotions to take over. I can't cry - I need to be sensible, at least at the start. Even if heading back to that wretched memory makes me feel like doing so.

"I could never be cross with you. Truly, I can't imagine anything coming between us."

That's what I thought about my parents but... here we are.

"I suppose I shouldn't waste more time, or we could be here all day." I gulped back whatever I felt coming up my throat. "If you had a chance to go back in time and see your parents, would you take it? Would you want to know who you are, and why what happened, happened?"

He smiled, but it was wiped off in a split second. "I feel like laughing. But... something tells me you're being serious." I couldn't take his penetrating eye contact, but he didn't pull away. "You're being serious, (y/n)?"

I nodded. "I've been having these dreams. For what feels like a long time, but it started not so long ago. I brushed it off at first, I thought it was nothing more than a terrible nightmare. But it kept coming back. Night after night, I found myself stuck in my three-year-old self's body, reliving what seemed to be the past. A past... I couldn't remember."

"After Motunui? You were so frazzled... is this what it was about?" He spoke fast, urging me to continue.

"Yes, essentially it was this. Mixed with other things, but it was mostly the dreams." I took a second to breathe. "They scared me. I didn't know what to do, so one night I let go of everything in me that was repressing the pull to.... something ... and I discovered my bracelet was connected to all this. But what it was doing was spontaneous, I couldn't control it. And I... desperately wanted to be in control. So I sought out Mal and took possession of the spellbook, the same one that taught me the invisibility spell we used to hide you. But in that was also a memory revisitation spell, that allows one to return to a memory based on the smallest detail, and experience it in whole."
