Just chill vibes ig, the guitar's sort of irrelevant but oh well - hope you enjoy this one :)
Your POV
In the room, there were three main areas to hang out: the beds on the far right, the couch and tables at the far left corner by the windows, and the floor area with cushions to the right of the door.
Maya and Kai were on the beds, Uma and Johnny took the couch, so Harry and I settled for the floor cushions. It seemed like every couple wanted some space for a while.
"Did you bring my pen, Harry?" I laughed, remembering the reason he had it.
"Here." He chuckled, bringing it out from his bag. "I don't need it anymore anyway. I have you." He brushed my cheek before adding, "So much better than this broken thing."
I scoffed. "It wasn't broken when you took it!"
"Oops." He put his hand behind his neck, embarrassed.
"Don't worry about it." I quietly said before moving closer to rest my head in the crook between his neck and shoulder. I laid there, my heartbeat slowing as I put my mind and thoughts to rest.
Harry went on to talk about how fencing was going as I fidgeted around with the pen in my hands, attempting to find what was broken and fix it.
"The royals can be real stuck up, you know?"
"I know." I sighed.
"Members like Steve and Chad put up such a fight when asked to let non-royals use their change room, saying things like "Jay was more than enough, we need to let more in now?" - it was frustrating, took away so much time from the actual practice."
"Were they convinced in the end?"
"Finally, yes, and we haven't had too many issues after that got resolved. They're not half-bad at fencing, thankfully."
"When do you compete?"
"First tournament's held next month, hosted by Auradon Prep and Legacy Academy."
"Ooh Legacy."
"What was the "ooh Legacy" about?"
At this, everyone else ended their conversations and came over, curious. Sometimes I forget I'm the only Auradon Royal in the group, and no one else was used to the things I had spent my life getting accustomed to.
"Nothing, it's just that Legacy's quite the interesting school - they're our biggest rivals, but everyone has a blast when they come over."
"Who goes there?"
"Practically everyone who doesn't go to Auradon Prep, anyone living in the far north. You know, the vampires." The sky was becoming darker, and to match that I dimmed the lights a touch.
"What?" Maya perked up.
"Vampires?" Harry turned to me, bothered.
"It's something we call the students from there, a nickname. It's because almost all of the Legacy students have this super pale white skin and even these frosty blue eyes. Some of the most notable royals from there are descendants from Arendelle, Elsa and Anna's kingdom. They also have many students who aren't royals, but they're a lot more united up there compared to here in Auradon City, less divided."
"I wonder why I never thought about other schools in Auradon, I always assumed Auradon Prep was the only one." Uma thought out loud.
"Our school is the biggest, but there are lots of schools scattered across the land," I explained.
