K it was so hard to pick an image for this part because Harry's not in this one, and the only other non-(y/n) character is Coy for who I could never find an actor that fits my mental image of him. But Coy does give me the sort of crackhead energy that Rafe from Outer Banks radiates - so even if they don't really look much alike, this is the best I could come up with!
Your POV
"Here you go!" The perky nurse stopped in front of a room with a slip labelled "Coy Gothel" posted on the door.
"Th-thank you." My voice came out a lot more meek than I had hoped. I cleared my throat before opening the door. Whatever you do, you cannot let him clue in on your fear. Coy can't know the power he holds over you.
I slowly opened the door to see an all-white, clean room in front of me. Coy was seated at a chair in the center of the room with his ankle chained to the leg of the chair. Opposite him was a chair about a meter away, for me to sit in. He was leaning back, mindlessly fidgeting with his - unchained - hands, whistling a tune. His hair was black as ever - those arms exposed by his half sleeve shirt, the ones that had held me captive on the ship, the hands that had grasped the sword that was held to my neck.
I closed my eyes for a split second before shutting the door behind me and taking a seat in silence.
His eyes shot to mine in a second, unblinking. Those eyes, the ones that never pulled away as he was draining my energy up on the clock tower. The abs, showing through his shirt, surely what drew Audrey to him in the first place. That grin, the same one ridiculously mocking me as I realized his connection to Lydia. Stop thinking, (y/n). You're here now, and you have a purpose. Focus on that.
"Followed your boyfriend in, huh?" He began casual conversation, surprising me. Well, he wasn't going to mutter death threats the minute you walked in, (y/n).
"It wasn't really him who needed to see you." I was glad my voice didn't come out shaky.
"I figured." I scanned his expression, not sure how I should continue. He resumed whistling. I see. He's waiting for me to begin.
"Coy," I said his name to regain his attention. "I'm here to ask you about a memory."
"Ooh, a memory!" He laughed. "Which one? Was it the one where I nearly killed you on the ship, or on that clock tower? Or was it another time? Gee, I think I've lost count, dearie, you'll have to remind me." His eyes looked all googly as he asserted his position. I dug my fingernails into my skin. Breathe, (y/n). Remember, Coy is emotionally intelligent, that's what makes him threatening. He knows how you feel and picks up on that. Don't let it faze you.
"It doesn't matter because you never did manage to succeed, did you? And getting bested by a clueless princess, at that - must've been disheartening." I kept the eye contact. "No, I'm not here to discuss anything about the summer. It's about something from before."
"How long before?" He humoured me, but still mockingly.
"A resurfacing memory from when I was three."
"Now that's interesting, isn't it?"
"Do you know anything about it?"
"Do I know anything about a memory you had when you were three? God, I hope not. Unless you're suggesting you're some lost, third Gothel sibling?" He smirked. Stop playing, ugh!
"If someone had a memory come back after so many years, could it be real?"
"Do memories lie?" He looked at me for a second, then turned away absently to look at the walls. This is going nowhere. I decided to take a second and see where I was planning to go with this while he was lost in his own thoughts. And get my knee to stop shaking. I crossed my leg over the other in an attempt to suppress it. This is a disaster.
