A very Harry x (y/n) chapter...

Your POV

I spun around to see his proud expression. "Shh Harry! God, does no one know how to keep a secret?" I glanced around, thankful the hallway was deserted apart from the two of us.

"How're you holding up, stranger?" He caught up to come beside me, putting his arm around me as he did.

"Not too bad, but we've spent so much time apart, you're essentially just a figment of my imagination. I think I've forgotten everything about you." I joked.

"Really? Everything? What about how I look? You must remember that." He played along.

"Oh no, especially that." I laughed.

"The hair? The smile? The eyes?"

"I suppose I couldn't forget the eyes, no matter how much time has elapsed."

"Well, I'm here now, so take it all in." He softly turned my face towards his, bringing my eyes to gaze into him.

We stood there, glazing over each others' expressions in deep silence. I noticed his brown-tinged hair, messy as usual, the blue flecks in his grey eyes, his lips pursed, tense and thoughtful.

In this moment, I truly felt the degree of how much I was overwhelmed by this week, and allowed myself to open up to the one person I should have let in from the start.

"I really missed you, Harry," I confessed, no jokes or humour to mask my feelings. "These past few days have been more demanding than you could ever know, and all I've been doing is keeping it in while trying to solve everyone else's problems when I have so many of my own that are equally as troubling." I looked away from his piercing eyes.

"Hey, (y/n), look at me." He smiled. "I missed you so much. You're like my rock, and I've felt lost, to be honest, without your constant smiles, and the way you always view everything positively - not allowing any number of setbacks to change the wonderful way you see the world. This Johnny-Uma thing has probably been just as hard on the two of us... no one's expecting you to keep it together."

I fell into a hug with him, my eyes nested in his shoulder. "I need to keep it together, though." My voice came out all muffled. "Who else would figure this out?"

"These things can be figured out together. You don't need to protect the rest of us while you search for all the answers. We do things as a team." He ran his fingers through my hair.

"You're right. I shouldn't do this to myself. It's just so hard to stop! I am obsessively trying to do everything I can to fix this issue, and figure out what's up with my drea--" I caught my breath.

"What were you saying?"

"Would you believe me if I said it was about my dreamy boy--"

"(Y/N), come on. First of all, we both hate labels. So let's not pretend that's what you were going to say. Is this about what you had mentioned to me before? These "odd occurrences"?" Ugh, I should have at least tried "pirate" - of course he'd know I wasn't going to say boyfrie— we all know the rest.

I huffed. "Yes, sort of. But..."

"But what?"

"Harry don't hate me but I really can't tell you right now - not before Friday's done with. It'll just unravel and before we know it, everything's going to be about this one thing and our friends' problems will get overshadowed which would be awful. I promise to

fill you in as soon as I can, and you'll be the first." I read the concern in his expression. "And I know you'll ask, so no, I'm not in any danger. If danger was the concern, you're a day too late." I laughed to lighten the mood.

He looked up in defeat. "I don't even want to ask." He sighed. "Hate you? Now I'm really worried you've forgotten everything about me. Pfft, hate you... as if that's possible."

"Thanks for being so understanding."

He warmly nodded in response. "Come, let's go in - maybe you could practice the you-know-what on me."

We entered the empty dorm, and I rushed to get out the spellbook.

"So how did Mal let you get your hands on that? Maleficent's most prized possession?"

"It wasn't easy, but I was persuasive enough." I chuckled. "And she may have assumed I implicitly promised something, which I, in fact, did not promise."

"Brilliant, as always." He laughed, shaking his head. "Does Jasmine know?"

"No, and not Baba either. No one was supposed to, but I had to give it away to explain the plan, so just the six of us."

"We'll keep it that way then." He reassured.

"Have you talked to your father since we last saw him?" I asked while flipping through to find the invisibility spell.

"Not yet."

"Why not?"

"I don't know. Not in the mood."

"That's hardly an excuse, Harry."

"Everything's always the same with him. Our conversations start with formality and end in a fight. So I figured, what's the point in trying? He won't miss me either way."

"He might miss you more than you think."

He shrugged. "Then let him call me."

I left it at this, knowing he'd be adamant. "Are you ready for me to try this?"

"Are you sure you want to start on me? We don't know what's going to happen. Try it on the apple." He gestured to the fruit on the table.

"I need practice on the real thing, and Johnny's not an apple - I've used more advanced spells from here and it's all worked out fine. Plus, my energy only lasts so long, I want to build up my stamina in a situation exactly like what would happen on Friday."

"Wait, this isn't your first time using the book?"

"I've tried some other spells out."

"I'm assuming that counts as something you'll tell me about later?"

"Yeah, it is." I walked over to sit by him. "Ready?"

"I hope so."

"Okay, I'll recite the spell, and you'll probably see the usual - purple eyes, lit-up bracelet - and when I think of you, it should work." I looked down at the page. "Here it goes. "Sight is relative, invisibility is imperative. Hide this from the world until my directive."" I closed my eyes and thought of Harry.

When I reopened my eyes, he was still there. "Oh. Did it not work?"

"Your eyes flashed purple, so that's a good sign, right?"

"It should be." I flipped through the pages to check if there were any instructions I missed. "I don't think I did anything wron--"

"Hey (y/n), come over here!"

I got up to where he was standing, in front of my vanity. When I looked into the mirror, all I could see was myself, as if Harry wasn't there.

"Oh my god, it did work! I guess I can still see you because I cast the spell, but otherwise you're invisible." I had an idea. "You know, I think I have the perfect way to test how long I can keep this going."

He smirked. "I think I know where you're going with this."

It's great to have Harry back, isn't it?

How is everyone doing?

Can't wait to see you next week for an interesting part... thanks for all of your votes and comments as usual :):)
