"I can't stop her; she doesn't listen to me" - Taehyung.
~~~~~~~~~
One day. It had been one day since Jimin came, and every second had become hell for Chaeyoung.
Jennie was supposed to be here by their lunch time, which was right now, and Chaeyoung couldn't contain her excitement, she was going to see Jennie after 2 whole years!
Chaeyoung searched for her around the school since her phone was dead. Why you ask? Well, let's just say that a devil named Park Jimin stole her phone from her bag and played games on it until it ran out of battery.
Damn you, Park Jimin. She thought.
As she was looking around, she turned when she heard some noises from the ballroom. Yes, they had a ballroom for masquerade balls, which rarely happened. Furrowing her brows, she turned to the corner and opened the doors quietly.
Chaeyoung stopped dead upon the sight.
Jimin was twirling Lisa around as she was laughing and enjoying with him. The two weren't aware that Chaeyoung was there, and they danced without a care in the world.
At the end of their little performance, Lisa ended up in Jimin's arms, her hands on his chest as she stared up at him, and he stared back.
Then he leaned down and kissed her forehead.
And before she could see something more, someone closed the doors from next to her.
She snapped out of it when she heard a sigh. Turning her head, she was met with Taehyung's side profile. He turned back to her, and his fingers caressed her cheeks. "Don't cry" He said, then took his hands back.
Taehyung was like her brother. They never talked much, but it was there, the bond was there between them.
Chaeyoung wiped her tears that were streaming down her cheeks, she was really hurt, she didn't expect Lisa to do such a thing. " . . . Tae" She whispered, holding his shoulder. It just hurt so much; Lisa had just done what they all feared.
But that was suffering twice for Chaeyoung. She had seen what happened with Jennie, she didn't want Lisa to follow the same path as her. But it looked like Lisa had already chosen the same fate as Jennie.
Chaeyoung grabbed Taehyung's arm and pulled him out of there. She dragged him to the garden at the back of the school, there was a single bench there.
"Why don't you stop her?" She raised her voice. "I can't stop her; she doesn't listen to me" His shoulders dropped.
"Man up, Taehyung. She's your girlfriend, do you get it? Do you understand the meaning of that sentence? You have all the rights to make her listen to you. You're a boy, you should have more power over her."
"I understand that you never fight with her because of how your parents got divorced just because of a fight, and that you don't want the same thing, that you don't want to break up with her."
"But what do you think she has been doing since yesterday? Did you check up on her? Why do you think she cheated on you rather than breaking it off with you in the first place? Look, Taehyung, just because you take her out on dates, spend on her, follow her like a fool, love her, doesn't mean that you're the best boyfriend in the world."
"Idiot, you're supposed to be demanding! You're supposed to be someone she's afraid of! Tell me, starting from your first date, who always arrived first?"
He stayed silent for a minute, before pointing at himself.
"See! That means she doesn't care about your feelings! I know she's always late for your dates, that she always declines your requests, that she rarely tells you those three magic words."
"So now, I want you to go back there, rip that short leech apart from her, and control her. I know it sounds really bad and I look like a little sh*t by saying all this, but it's the only thing we can do to stop her."
"Go and make her do what you want her to do, learn to handle her, make her yours!" Chaeyoung shook his shoulders, finally finishing her lecture.
"But what if when I step out there she says 'Let's break up Taehyung, I'm over you'"
Slap.
"You won't let her" She warned. He nodded, thanking god that it was just a light slap, or else his jaw would've broken off because of how hard Chaeyoung's slaps were.
"Right, I'm gonna do it" He encouraged himself, a ghost of a smile played on her lips. "Thanks Chae, I really needed that" He hugged her quickly and then ran off.
She watched him go, and then she smiled. "I really needed that too" She whispered. It may have sounded cruel, telling your best friend's boyfriend to go and make her fear him, but Chaeyoung didn't have another choice.
She couldn't let Lisa do all that, she wanted to save her, and she will. Just because she couldn't save Jennie didn't mean she would let Lisa go, Lisa was going to taste her own medicine now.
Chaeyoung was sitting on the bench as she was planning what she was going to do now since Lisa had ruined her plan. But then, she saw a brunette running inside the school, she only caught a glimpse of her though.
Wait, wasn't that Jennie?
a/n: Soooo the drama has started! I hope you enjoyed this chapter! But I don't think I will be able to update tomorrow since the weekend is over for me out here in Bahrain, but I promise I'll try my best to do so!
The next chapter is gonna be really cool. And what do you think? Did Lisa really cheat on our Taehyungie? Or is it just a misunderstanding? Lemme know lovelies!
