"What is he to you?" - Taehyung.

~~~~~~
"I got so lucky, you don't even know" Jungkook gave away the most charismatic smile ever to Irene as they were dancing. "I honestly don't even know what to reply to that" She looked down as a blush crept up on her cheeks, her own smile never leaving her lips.
Placing a finger under her chin, he raised her face up to meet eyes with her. "I want you to look in my eyes, and let's pretend like there's no one around" He spoke ever so softly, melting her heart without even trying.
They stared deeply into each others' eyes, almost like their stares had another meaning to them which only they seemed to understand.
Okay, maybe it wasn't just them.
Another couple seemed to notice the light and joyful atmosphere between Jungkook and Irene who were dancing the night away, their eyes locked as if they were never going to look away from each other.
Taehyung's hands that were almost hovering over Lisa's waist were suddenly wrapped around it, making her snap her head towards him. Not saying a word, he looked back into her eyes too. She saw mixed emotions in them; jealousy, regret, maybe even guilt, she couldn't distinguish how many she had seen.
They had barely spoken to each other, even if it had been a few hours since they had come here. Even after Hoseok had reassured Taehyung that it was going to be fine, he couldn't help but panic at the thought of how he was going to actually tell her about the vacation, let alone show her the tickets that were placed inside the pocket of his blazer.
And on the other hand, Lisa was trying to avoid the fact that they had said a lot of mean things to each other, maybe they meant some of them, and there might've been some that they didn't really mean to say, but either way, they had said it.
The question still stood, however; could it still work out? Now that some feelings that were hidden in the depths of their hearts were truly revealed, now that they had talked-argued, about the issue rather than just dodging it, could they still think of each other as they used to?
Lisa didn't see him as a cute, innocent Taehyung anymore. And Taehyung didn't see her as his queen, honest and truthful anymore.
What was their end, then? One thing was for sure, that this wasn't it. He knew it wasn't, because as he watched Jungkook and Irene having the time of their lives, he knew the two could end up together and him and Lisa could just end up broken.
Hoseok had once told him : "Love cannot save us if we don't want to be saved" But did he wanted to be saved? He didn't know about himself, but he did want to save Lisa, however, because he had truly loved her.
Did he still love her? Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. What if being attracted towards Irene was just a phase that occurred with everyone? And what if Lisa was going through the same thing? If he had to find out, he had to ask her.
"Can we talk?" His voice snapped her out of her daze. "What?" She asked, her beautiful round eyes looked up at him like they always had. "Let's go inside, I want to talk to you" Taehyung honestly didn't think if she would even agree to talk with him, and that was surely because of the way their last 'talk' had ended up
She went silent, narrowing her eyes at him before she took a glance at the couple on their side who were still in their own world. With a small sigh, she nodded her head at him. His hand immediately wrapped around her wrist and they exited from the scene, and nobody had seemed to care, not even the two brothers who once noticed every little detail.
Lisa shifted in her place when the door was closed. She looked around, it was some old bedroom, and it honestly didn't feel the same to her as it used to. Taehyung pursed his lips as he walked over to the bed and sat down on the edge, as to Lisa was sitting on the other edge.
Taehyung felt it. The distance between them wasn't just the distance of the bed, but the distance of their hearts, and he would be lying if he said that he wasn't really feeling emptiness inside of him as his mind replayed their argument in his head.
Now that he thought of it, he realized that when Lisa had slapped him that one time, he had actually deserved it because of what he had done. He realized that she had always been insecure, though she never showed it, she had some scars from the past too.
He'd never want to know more of her bad past. Jennie had once told him something related to Lisa nearly going to jail, but she had said that the younger sister had been framed because of her innocence, she had been used by some bad and manipulating 'friends' of hers, and Taehyung would never want to know anything more than that.
He knew she wasn't a player, but then again, he should've known the difficulties of the path of love. He should've known that having a relationship with her wouldn't be easy. He should've known.
"What is he to you?" Taehyung asked quietly after a long silence which neither of them had dared to break until he had questioned her, and she wasn't dumb to not know who he was talking about. "I . . don't know" Lisa stared down at her hands that were resting on her lap. And after that, he decided not to ask her anything else, there wasn't even something left that he wanted to know after her statement.
"What is she to you?" Lisa and Taehyung shared a look after a moment as he thought about his answer to her question, and it was in that moment of silence that he realized, that Irene meant nothing to him at all.
"Nothing. She's nothing, I was just confused, but now I know that she means nothing." A deep sigh escaped his lips. Lisa, against her will, said something that broke his heart. "I don't know if I could say the same thing, I don't know what my heart wants" Taehyung ignored her words and took out something from inside of his blazer.
"Here," He placed the white envelope between them, not even glancing at her. "What's this?" Her eyes looked between the envelope and Taehyung, who was now standing. "See for yourself" He shrugged, taking it and handing it to her. Lisa hesitantly took it and opened it, reading the papers with a fast pace.
"Maldives!?"
 He hadn't really expected for her to jump up in excitement, he hadn't expected her to hug him, and he definitely hadn't expected her to even apologize for what she had done. "I'm sorry-" And right there, he cut her off, and locked his lips with hers without warning.
(A/N: I am SO sorry for the ending part right here!)
