"How could you let everything go like that?" - Jimin.

"You!" Chaeyoung was about to grab Jin's collar right as she recognized him, forgetting about Jimin for a second. Hoseok quickly came to shield Jin from her and grabbed her hands, strong enough to hold her back.

"Chae, He's got an explanation, please." Hoseok said calmly, even though everyone knew it wasn't actually going to lessen her anger. "Hoseok . .  you're with him in this?" Chaeyoung looked at Hoseok in disbelief, her eyes glancing between him and Jin, who was sitting behind him on the kitchen counter, as calm as possible.

Jin was smart enough to know that being aggressive or showing more emotions in this type of situation wasn't really the best thing to do, hence he decided to sit there and give away his explanation that way.

"Yes-I mean no, no. Sit down, and listen to him, for my sake" Hoseok held her shoulders, almost having to drag her away and make her sit down on the armrest chair.

"Hyung, how come you're . . . alright? What's going on?" Jimin broke his silence, looking visibly tensed. His eyes roaming around the room and realizing that Jin, Hoseok and Chaeyoung were all there at the same time, it was almost like he had already guessed why he was here.

"You should have a seat as well, I think the four of us really need to have a serious talk with each other." Jin crossed his arms, a sigh escaping his lips. "Hoseok, tell me right now what this is all about." Chaeyoung was shooting daggers at Jin with her eyes, ready to throw hands if anything. With each passing second, she kept on remembering Jennie crying her heart out for Jin when he had left her, oh how hard had it been to comfort her.

"Why don't we go with Jin hyung first, right?" Hoseok suggested quickly, wanting to clear the matters between Chaeyoung and Jin first. "Okay, fine. I left Jennie, but it wasn't because I played her, Chaeyoung, it was because I didn't want her to find out what I did for a living.

When I disappeared, I had actually left Korea for some gang matters, as you know I was a part of a gang. I truly loved her, I even wanted to leave all of it behind for her. But I wasn't able to do that, I had failed her. I really didn't mean to pick a fight with Yoongi, I didn't mean to hurt Jennie, but could I ever change the fact that I did illegal things? That I was a bad guy? I knew she would never support me on this one.

I decided it was better for us to part ways, we were so different, we could never make it with all the things I did and how she thought of them. I couldn't let her worry about if I'd even come home or not, I couldn't wipe her tears when she'd see me covered in someone's blood, I couldn't do that to her, Chaeyoung. I'm sorry, I'm very sorry." Jin bowed to her, showing that he was really sincere with her.
