"I'll end the pain." - Chaeyoung.

~~~~~~~~~
"I didn't throw us away, You did." Jimin shook his head, Chaeyoung's hands that were holding his face earlier, were left hanging in the air. "But now I-I love you" She held his hand again. She needed Jimin, she loved him too much to let the past ruin her relationship with him.
"No, you don't love me, you love this version of me. You don't love me who was your best friend, you love me who came into your life out of the blue and made you fall for me." He smiled bitterly, knowing that it was just the truth that Chaeyoung was trying to deny.
"Please, Jimin . . ." She cried, and every tear that feel from her eye was like a bullet to Jimin's heart, and yet he couldn't do anything about it. 'I'm sorry Chaeyoung, I love you too. . ." He came closer, wiping her tears with the hem of his shirt once again and gazing into her glossy eyes. For a second there, it felt like everything was okay.
But with what he said next, it felt like even the thin string of hope Chaeyoung was desperately holding onto was also cut off.
"But I used you."
He knew she had used him too in the beginning, but he had never stopped loving her despite that, and so it hurt to tell her that he only made her love him back so he could break her heart, just she broke his, without even knowing it.
'Y-You're joking, right?" Chaeyoung couldn't believe what she had just heard. Him being her lost best friend was enough shock to her, and now this too? It was as if her life decided to giver her all the pain on the same day, at the same time.
"No, I'm not. I'm sorry, I used you, I played with your feelings and I wanted to break your heart just like you broke mine, I only wanted revenge until I . . ." He paused, gulping the lump that formed in his throat.
"Until I realized that I still loved you, I realized that I could never erase you from my memories, Chaeyoung." he tried holding her, but was surprised when she pushed him away instead.
"Y-You're lying" She said, looking around as everything seemed to spin around her. "Chaeyoung, please listen-" He was cut off by her again. "No, You're playing with me, all of you!" She yelled, pointing around the house as a way of mentioning Jin and Hoseok.
"Chae Stop what are you doing?" Jimin was now confused at her behavior, was she out of her mind? "let me go!" Chaeyoung pushed Jimin away by such a force that he fell to the ground.
"What-" Jimin immediately covered himself with his jacket that was near him on the ground when the vase on the table went flying to the other side of the house, shattering in pieces.
"I'll end it, I'll end the pain." She turned her head back to him, giving him a sadistic smile, losing herself. "Chaeyoung, don't." He warned her, watching as she was staring at the broken glass on the floor.
"Move away!" She threw something at him again, which was probably the wooden decoration piece that was on the table. And right as Jimin ducked down to prevent himself form getting hit by it, she grabbed a piece of the broken glass.
"What happened?" Jin and Hoseok came running in after finally have seen that Chaeyoung had chosen violence suddenly.  Jimin quickly looked their way, trying to make signs to warn them, but they couldn't understand it.
"Don't come near me!" Chaeyoung turned around to face them as a reflex, pointing the shattered glass to her wrist. "Chaeyoung!" Hoseok's eyes went wide as saucers, he wanted to run out to her, but Jin held the back of his collar before he could move from his spot.
"That's not how we deal with this situation" he mumbled to Hoseok calmly. "Chaeyoung, sweetheart, listen to me, put it away . . . " Jin slowly took two steps towards her, but was stopped when she inched the glass even closer to her wrist.
"Okay okay, I won't hurt you" He backed away immediately. "I-If you come c-closer again I-I do it!" She roared at them. Jimin was just a few steps behind her and was about to back hug her, when she noticed that Hoseok moved his place. And she, overwhelmed from it all, did it.
"CHAEYOUNG!" The three shouted together as she collapsed on the floor with blood oozing out from her wrist. "Call the ambulance!" Jimin yelled, picking her up bridal style as Jin ripped some cloth from his shirt and tried to wrap it around Chaeyoung's bleeding wrist.
"Love, hang in there, please, I beg you . . . ." Jimin whispered helplessly as he caressed her hair, not being able to focus on Jin and Hoseok who were fussing around with the ambulance and searching for car keys to get them all out of here.
Everything happed so fast, It made Jimin lose his mind over it. He never thought that one call from Jin could bring him to stand where he was right now, he never thought Chaeyoung would hurt herself because of him. This was all his fault, all his fault.
Just because of him, Chaeyoung had to pay the price. The price of revenge.
