"You don't seem to mind" - Jin.

"Serendipity" Jisoo read under her breath, the note was put on her coffee cup for the nth time. Just like that, a different note was always put on her coffee cup whenever she bought one.

In the beginning, she thought it was for all customers. But watching the words describe her exact state of mind every time, she realized it was just for her.

The corners of her mouth lifted up when she remembered what the word meant. It was oddly correct though, she had been thinking about a certain guy working in the coffee shop lately.

More like ever since the 'note' thing started, her mind went back to his face and that smile which she had seen only once.

She wondered what was the time of his shift, because she never really saw him there. "Hyuna," She went back to the counter and called the worker she was friends with. "Yeah?" Hyuna asked, coming up to her.

"is there . . . a guy working here? Because you know you're all girls here but I think I've seen a guy one time" Jisoo asked. "Ah yes! There is" Hyuna replied. "Is he here right now?" Jisoo asked instantly.

"Yeah, but why are you asking, hmm?" Hyuna teased. "I want to meet him, can you send him to table 6?" Jisoo requested. "Ooh okay okay" Hyuna nodded with another teasing look before she went to the staff room.

Jisoo went and sat on her table which had her laptop and three files scattered on it. She pushed the things aside and sat down, sighing. She unknowingly stared at the note, she had all the notes at home.

It was the exact same hand writing, she was sure he was the one who was doing all this, but the question was, why?

Why would he bother to do so?

She snapped out of her thoughts when a knock on the table rang in her ears. And there, she laid her eyes on the handsome man wearing a black cap and black apron with wide shoulder, who was looking down at her with a small smile. His brown hair fell on his forehead, his eyes were visible from under his fringe.

"I was told that you wanted to meet me" He spoke, sitting down in front of her. His voice was soft and angelic, she tried hard not to think of all those beautiful features of his.

"Y-yes, I wanted to ask who are you, and why do you put these notes on my coffees?" She tired acting cool, showing him the note in her hand.

He shook his head with a small smile. "You don't seem to mind, though" He said, giving her a look that screamed 'I know it makes you feel better'. She was caught off guard, he was right, she hadn't ignored it.

"Anyway, I'm Seokjin, Jin for short" He introduced himself. "Kim Jisoo" She nodded at him. "You asked me why, well the answer is very simple; I'm good at giving advices, and you seemed to be so helpless that I couldn't help it."

"Turned out, it started making you smile. My jokes, I saw you laugh at them so I thought 'Why not continue doing it?' I really can't handle a frown on someone's face, you should be positive" He explained.

"Oh, and a side note: so much caffeine is not good for you" He added. "Are you my therapist?" She laughed. "I used to be one a year ago" His words cut her laughter short. "Oh" She let out, a faint memory flashing in her head.

"Seokjin . . . Jin's home! that might be your clinic?" She remembered. "How do you know?" He asked, amused. "I had passed by one day, saw a friend of mine getting therapy from you" She remembered that dull face, sitting on the steps of Jin's clinic.

"Yeah?? What was the name?" He asked. "Jung Hoseok" He gasped in realization. "Oh Hobi? My best work until now, he changed so drastically you know, told me it was because he liked a girl. We're still in touch, and he's doing fine now" Jin chuckled.

"Can you . . . can you tell me why he was seeing you?" She became a bit curious, she knew Hoseok was a bright guy, but she might like to know more about him, he really was a very interesting person to her.

"Ruined childhood. Parents got killed in front of him in a house robbery. Was sent to an orphanage and got adopted at 10, but the woman became a drunken mess after her husband died and she started mentally abusing Hoseok."

"Then she abandoned him. He worked some part-time jobs for himself since middle school and now he's working as the best dance instructor of the town" Jin told her all the details. She stared at him intensely for a moment, taking it in.

"Do you usually tell strangers about your patients' pasts?"
