"I'm not pathetic, you are, Ms. Kim" - Jimin.

"Park Jimin!" Jimin glared hard at the table as his name was called - yelled, for the third time. "I asked you to say it!" The woman with short black hair shouted at him again, tapping her nails against her red mahogany office table.

"I won't" He uttered coldly. She let out a huff as she aggressively signed some of the papers that her secretary had given her earlier. Jimin stood there, waiting for her to tell him to leave. But she didn't.

"What is this nonsense? are you in kindergarten? is this what your father taught you? How foolish of me, I shouldn't have expected you to be any different from him, both of you are complete jerks. I'm disappointed on the day I decided to marry him" She shook her head as she scolded him.

"Problematic woman" He muttered, rolling his eyes. "What did you say? I'm your mother you brat!" She stood up from her chair, her face turning red from anger. "Then act like it!" He snapped back at her.

"What do you mean? I've given you everything, haven't I?" She questioned, calming herself down by taking deep breathes. "Yeah right, as if" He gave her a look. "Park Jimin, this is my last warning. Break whatever relation you have with that magazine owner's daughter, or else I'm going to tell your father about this" She glared at him.

"And I. don't. care" He stressed on each word. "You're not the only heir of Park Inc. and nor you the only child, then what's all that attitude for?" She raised a brow, as if taunting him. "Of course I'm not the only heir, your two lovely, smart, kind, amazing, talented, best sons in the world are the heirs before me," He mocked.

"But you know what? Even if they're older than me, dad doesn't even like them" He told her, although he felt like his words weren't true at all as an image of his father hugging them instead of him flashed in his head.

"They're your brothers" She smiled proudly at the picture frame placed on her table which had her sons in it, minus Jimin of course. "No they aren't, and you're not my mother so don't even try to be. My mother died 15 years ago and that's it." He looked away.

"I can't believe people like you exist, you were my mother's best friend. But as soon as she passed away, you took her place, you took all her fortune, you made dad hate her. I'm not pathetic, you are, Ms. Kim" He spat before walking out of there and slamming the doors shut on her face.

Her mouth was left hanging agape at what he had said. She took her phone and called her husband. "Honey, please talk with Jimin" She softened her tone as much as she could. The man on the other line sighed.

"What did he do now?" He asked. "Just because I'm being nice with him doesn't mean that his words don't hurt me. He disrespected me so much today, and he even called me names" She faked a sob.

"I don't understand what wrong have I done to him, I never treated him any different from Jackson and Jaebum, then why? Why does he hate me so much? Is it because I can never be his mother?" And she started her world class acting again, sobbing loudly.

"Dear, please stop crying. I'll talk him okay? Please don't cry, you know I'm not there with you right now" He replied worriedly. "Alright. I have to go now honey, I have a meeting I'll talk with you later" She sniffed.

"I have a meeting too dear, take care" He said. "You too" She replied before hanging up. She smirked, leaning back in her chair. "You both are so easy to fool. I hope your daddy gives you a good lecture" She cackled evilly.

"Pick up, please pick up" Chaeyoung kept whispering to herself as she was calling Jimin. "So, your perfect wife told you everything huh, dad?" Jimin snapped, picking up without checking the caller ID.

He had honestly expected his father to call him, he knew he would get an earful from him, and maybe his step mother had already told him about Chaeyoung. "J-Jimin?" Chaeyoung asked confusedly. He gasped.

"Oh my god sweetheart I'm so sorry I didn't know it was you!" He apologized quickly. His words from earlier repeated in her head, she wondered why he was saying such things, but she decided not to question.

"No it's okay. Um . . . you didn't come to school today, is everything okay?" She asked as she twirled some strands of her hair with her fingers. "Some business stuff came up, I forgot to tell you about it I'm sorry. I hope you didn't have a terrible hangover from last night" He joked, she giggled.

"No, I'm fine" She said. "But I'm not" His words made her sit up straight. "What happened?" She panicked. "I miss you, let's meet. How about lunch? I know a spectacular place" He remembered a restaurant and nodded to himself.

"Sure" She smiled. "Great, I'll be there in 20. Bye sweetheart" He sing-sang. "Bye Jimin" She breathed out and hanged up. "Gosh, isn't he a lovely guy? Can't believe he's missing me already" She giggled to herself as she stood.

Retouching her light makeup, she checked her appearance. She was wearing a white with black stripes long sleeved crop top with white skinny jeans, white sneakers and her hair rested on her shoulders. The doorbell rang, she smiled.

She opened the doors and there stood Jimin, wearing a quite similar outfit to hers. He was wearing the same shirt as hers, but it seemed to be a bit big for him (thought he still looked good in her opinion) and black jeans.

"Wow, couple outfits huh?" He teased after noticing it, she blushed, trying to hide her cheeks with her hair. "Let's go?" She nodded, and with their hands intertwined, they walked towards his car.

He was everything she had ever asked for, guess Jimin was right huh? The tables could really turn in a blink of an eye.
