Chapter #10

Author's PoV :

"Let's see if you can resist this, Park Roseanne" - Jimin.

1 Month later:

One month. All it took for Jimin to change so drastically was one month. No more teasing Chaeyoung, no more annoying her with his bold and bratty attitude, it was just him being kind and sweet and gentle.


It was like he was a whole different person, although the fact that he was always low-key flirting with her and that she knew he liked her, made it a bit awkward for Chaeyoung.


She had never imagined Jimin could more than someone she hated, someone she despised. Maybe it was beginning to become something else, something more than being friends.


If she asked herself, Chaeyoung honestly didn't know what this was, what this weird feeling she got when he was near her was. But whatever it was, she sure as heck wasn't going to accept it, yet.


"Hey, Tae!" Someone called out his name, Taehyung turned around. "hey Jimin, what's up?" He smiled at the orange haired boy. "I need your help" Jimin his shoulder, almost out of breath.


"Sure, what is it?" Taehyung asked, Jimin looked around cautiously. "After school, my place, yeah?" Jimin suggested, Taehyung shrugged. "Thanks, see ya!" With that, Jimin ran away.


Jimin was planning to ask Chaeyoung out on a date. He had noticed the slight change in her behavior towards him, which was obviously good for him. She seemed relaxed with him now, not tensed like before.


Although he knew he shouldn't take this chance and wait a little more, but he had no other choice because he had already made a big mistake from making her hate him in the beginning.


Now she even smiled genuinely around him, she didn't hate him anymore. Was his plan working? Maybe it was.


It not dating, he could even stay in courtship for her. Well that can only happen if she agrees on giving him a chance which he hoped for. He just wanted to take a bigger step, he didn't have much time left.

"Hmm, first off, prepare a romantic date for the two of you, but don't tell her that you're taking her out on a date! Just tell her to dress up nicely and make an excuse for it,"


"You know, if she's into red roses or something, you can recreate a romantic scene from a movie because there are various scenes that include red roses. For example, putting the rose in her hair, or maybe a path of rose petals to the dinner table."


"Also, give her a gift. A bracelet, earrings or a ring that will symbol your relationship. I gave that to Lisa, see" Taehyung paused his explanation to lift his hand and point at the ring in his index finger.


"We wear these rings to show affection, love and how we are meant for each other. Ah, I remember giving these to her on a starry night, under the moonlight. And on a shooting star, we promised to never take it off," Taehyung closed his eyes, remembering the memory he had treasured the most.


"Anyways, as I was saying," Taehyung snapped out of it. "Not just a dinner, you can also take her somewhere else? The beach maybe. Oh wait, you have a house on XXXXX beach, right?" Jimin nodded at his question.


"Perfect, I think you can just prepare a beach date and show her around the house so that if she says yes, you guys can chill there anytime. I hope she does say yes tho, or else all your hard work will go in vain" The two laughed at Taehyung's words.


"You're seriously a love expert Tae, what could have I done without you?" Jimin said dramatically. "yeah yeah, now go and prepare for your date" Taehyung rolled his eyes playfully at him.


"Thank you so much bro, you're a life saver" Jimin hugged Taehyung as he said. Taehyung then left and Jimin dialed a number as he smirked.


"Let's see if you can resist this, Roseanne Park" He said with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
