"I . . . I like someone." - Jennie.

Jennie.

That was all that mattered to Yoongi in that moment. She was playing with water, splashing it here and there as she laughed, and the sunset behind her made the scene even more beautiful. He was sitting on a bench as he watched her with adoration in his eyes, his heart feeling at ease.

Everything reminded him of a certain memory that he didn't know he hadn't noticed until now, which made his smile drop.

Flashback:-

A girl with long brown hair was sitting on the sand, her hands working on a neat sandcastle that she was making. She was so focused in her work that she didn't notice she was pouting with her brows furrowed, making her look adorable.

It was almost 4 in the evening, and she was very glad that it wasn't burning hot out here. The summer breeze played with her hair that shone under the sunrays. She was wearing a cute black crop top with blue shorts, the chains dangling from her neck telling her that she was surely going to get a tan when she would get home.

A boy that was walking down the beach stopped briefly to admire the scenery, and as he looked around, his eyes caught the girl sitting there with her legs crossed. He smiled upon recognizing her almost instantly, not caring about the strange feeling in his chest as he was standing there with his eyes locked on her.

"Rubyjane!" He called her, making her snap out of her daze. "Suga!!" She grinned happily as he approached her. "Wow, that's some real talent out there" He pointed at her halfway-done sandcastle. "Yeah, but it's not finished yet" She showed him her hands that were full of sand and they burst out laughing.

"What are you doing here alone? Where's Liz and Chaeng?" He asked as he sat down next to her, and just the brush of his knee against hers caused a shiver to run down her spine, making it harder for her to hide her cheeks that heated up instantly.

"Liz w-went out with her friend and C-Chaeng is busy with a photoshoot" She informed, struggling to keep a straight face, but he failed to notice the reason behind her stuttering. "Again? Wasn't Lisa with her 'friend' just yesterday?" He frowned.

"She's still not over Jaehyun, Suga. It's as simple as that" She shook her head with a sigh. "Facts." He sighed as well, staring ahead. "Anyway, wanna hear a good news?" She stopped making the sandcastle and turned to him with a warm smile.

He gazed at her glowing face for a moment, getting lost in her honey brown eyes before he nodded with a smile. "I got accepted for the job in New Zealand!" She told him. "That's great!-" He was about to smile when it suddenly disappeared instead.

"But doesn't that mean that you have to . . leave?" He asked, his voice almost breaking at the end. She looked down sadly, nodding her head. He said nothing more; he was no one to ask her to stay, because even if he said that he wanted her to stay, it was useless, because she'd leave anyway.
