Mistaken

Chapter #16

Author's PoV :

"I bet I won't remember this tomorrow" - Chaeyoung.

"Ugh!" Chaeyoung turned the alarm off with a loud groan. Her head hurt a little bit, she stood up from her bed and stretched lazily. "How did I get here?" She asked herself, looking at the mirror that reflected her black dress and smudged lipstick that was still there from last night.

She gasped. Last night!

Everything that happened flew back to her mind and she covered her mouth in shock. But then again, why didn't she regret any of it? Why didn't she regret everything that happened?

Flashback:-

"You're handsome" Chaeyoung slurred her words together, staring at Jimin's sharp jaw which was the only thing she could see at the moment because of her falling eyelids. 

He chuckled, slowly climbing up the staircase to her room as he was carrying her bridal style. Her black YSL heels were dangling from her hands, she didn't even bother putting them back on.

If it weren't for the fact that this was Chaeyoung's house, Jimin was sure he had seen this type of scene in some drama a long time ago.

A husband carrying his wasted wife to their bedroom, and the next day when she would wake up, he would care for her and show his affection to her.

Though Jimin was planning to do something like that in the near future, he was a bit disappointed knowing that maybe at that time, Chaeyoung would be in someone else's arms, and the reason would be Jimin himself.

"I shouldn't have drunk the wine" She spoke, almost as if she was mumbling. 'Of course you shouldn't have, but I did that because I wanted to know what you really felt about me' Jimin smirked at his thoughts.

"Why is that?" He still asked her. "Because then I would've remembered your reaction" She said before placing a light peck on his cheek. He looked back at her amusingly, she threw her head back and let out a drunk chuckle at the face he was making.

"I bet I won't remember this tomorrow" She said as he entered her bedroom. "Goodnight, beautiful" He kissed her forehead after tucking her in bed. 

She hummed with her eyes closed and a small smile. He stared at her peaceful face for some time, then he sighed and left.

Flashback ends :-

Chaeyoung smiled, touching her lips. "Darn it, he's so sweet" She said, fluttering her lashes and then letting out a laugh at her own self. She got ready for school after that, and left the house in a happy mood.

Surprisingly, Lisa wasn't waiting for her at the gates like she usually does, which Chaeyoung was curious of why. It was quite early, not many students were present, while some were entering the school with her.

"Chaeng!" Jennie's voice called her as the said girl ran towards her, trapping her in a tight hug. "Good morning, unnie" Chaeyoung smiled at her, pulling away.

"You won't believe this" Jennie said. "Of course I will, but what is it?" Chaeyoung asked. Jennie took out her phone and opened Youtube, shoving the phone in Chaeyoung's face.

Chaeyoung took the phone and read what it was. "Agust D by Min Suga, 1.5 million views, 1 day ago?" Chaeyoung read out loud, the, thought for a second.

"Hold on, it's not-" Jennie cut her off by a loud squeal. "Yes it is! Oh my god I'll die from happiness!" Jennie jumped in excitement, not being able to hold it in. 

"Yoongi started a youtube channel and has this many views in one day? OMG!" Chaeyoung and Jennie started squealing together, and then a group of girls came running towards them.

"He's here!" A girls shouted, pointing at the gates behind them. All of them turned, and there he was, Yoongi - aka Min Suga- walking towards them with a small smirk.

His black hair was now mint green, he was wearing a white shirt with a black leather jacket and black jeans, looking as handsome as ever. 

"Babe, why didn't you wait for me?" He asked, going over to Jennie. Wrapping an arm around her waist, he pulled her against him. She chuckled, looking down shyly as he pressed his forehead against hers, his own smile never leaving his lips.

"OMG JENNIE AND YOONGI ARE DATING" Someone yelled, and everyone went crazy, literally. Chaeyoung chuckled as she stood by her locker, watching the new power couple - since Taelice is still number one- being crowded as if they were some artists that had come to meet their fans.

Well, those shippers could be considered as fans.

But either way, Chaeyoung was thankful that at least the two were back on track now, specially Yoongi. Now there were no regrets, no pain, no tears, and no more fights between them. And as the rest of the school, Chaeyoung, too, was over the moon for the both of them.

"Eh! Number one Yoonie shipper incoming!" Lisa rapped as she entered the scene with - Jungkook? Chaeyoung's brows furrowed when she saw Jungkook beside Lisa instead of Taehyung.

And speaking of him, where even was Taehyung?
