Chapter #20

Author's PoV : 

"She is ruining her life again" - Jennie.

"Call her" Jennie deadpanned with dark eyes. "Okay" Chaeyoung nodded, dialing Lisa's number and putting it on speaker. "Hey Chaeng!" Lisa picked up with the most excited voice ever. "Hey Liz, what's up? Care to meet? It's been ages since we had some girls time together" Chaeyoung faked a chuckle as she said.

"Come on Lalis" Another voice was heard from far away before Lisa could respond, Jennie and Chaeyoung looked at each other instantly. "Sorry Chaeng, not today. I'm not available" Lisa said with a sad voice.

"Where are you, then?" Jennie interrupted Chaeyoung who was about to speak. "Oh unnie? Hi! Well I'm at the carnival, you know, the one that was opened yesterday?" Lisa told them. "But Taehyung went to Daegu for some days, then how come you're at the carnival?" Chaeyoung asked.

"I'm with Jungkook, Hoseok oppa and his girlfriend, you wanna come join us? It's amazing, the rollercoaster is super good!" Jennie clenched her fist at Lisa's response, and her face was clearly red from anger. 

"Um, no thanks Liz we're good. Anyway, have fun!" Chaeyoung said in the same manner as Lisa. "Okay, - Lalis I got the tickets! - you too!" With that, Lisa hung up. Jennie slammed her hand on the table, Yoongi quickly held her wrist to prevent her form doing any damage.

"Lalis. It's been only two days and he even made a nickname for her? Wow, I bet she made one for him too. I don't trust Lisa and Jungkook on this one, well if it had just been Hoseok then I would've said nothing because I know him and he even has a girlfriend, but Jungkook? I won't have it" Jennie ranted.

"She needed a new friend? Fine, I have lots of friends and I would've introduced her to one like Mina or Sana. But no, she needed a male friend, not a female one" Jennie raised her voice. "babe, calm down" Yoongi held her shoulders.

"How can I calm down Yoongi? She is ruining her own future for the second time, I thought she had learnt her lesson from Jaehyun?" Jennie mentioned Lisa's ex, Chaeyoung rolled her eyes at the memory of when she had to deliver Lisa's love letters to Jaehyun because he was good friends with her.

But it actually turned out that Jaehyun thought the love letters were from Chaeyoung and even said that he'd like to date her, but of course Chaeyoung rejected him, and then Jaehyun said that it was Lisa's fault for never writing her name in the letters.

Though even after that, Jaehyun dated Lisa. But the two eventually got over each other earlier than they had expected because he said he needed some space and she said she needed to focus on her studies since she had been dating Jaehyun behind Jennie's back - who acted like she didn't know anything even when she did since Chaeyoung had told her.

"But let her ruin it" All their heads snapped towards the direction of the new voice. "What?" They asked in unison. "Let her ruin it, maybe that Jaehyun boy hadn't really meant something to her. Let her feel the real pain if she's willing to do what her heart says, let her feel the pain of losing Taehyung" Jimin paused to sit down.
