Chapter #26

Author's PoV :

"Taehyung would've neve gotten to date you''- Jungkook.

"Really?" With wide eyes, Lisa raised her eyebrows in disbelief. "Yeah, and you won't believe what happened after that," Jungkook paused, glancing between Lisa and Taehyung as if he really were a storyteller.

"We both took the girl out on dates, but she rejected us because . . . " Jungkook kept up with the suspense, and Lisa was so into it that Taehyung had to hold her back from jumping out of her seat.

"Because she knew it would ruin your friendship?" Lisa assumed, tilting her head. But Taehyung shook his head at her, trying not to laugh because he obviously knew what was coming next.

"Because she was lesbian!" 

Lisa and Taehyung burst into laugher as Jungkook put on his bunny smile. "That was not what I was expecting, I swear!" Lisa said between her laughs as she and Taehyung were literally falling on each other from all the laughing.

"Seriously, till this day, that has been the most shocking experience for me" Taehyung said, pointing at himself. "Yeah, like remember when she went like 'This is my girlfriend' and we were like 'what'!?" They laughed again at Jungkook's statement.

"Damn you're so fun!" Lisa hit Jungkook's hand with a small smile. "So is your boyfriend, but he's just quite calm unlike me" Jungkook punched Taehyung in the arm lightly, and he chuckled. 

"Well, you were being a monkey all the time so when had I gotten the chance to speak?" Taehyung asked with an amused grin. "That's true though" Jungkook nodded thoughtfully, making a funny face. 

"I wish I had went to the same middle school as you guys, then we three would've been like the best-est friends!" Lisa whined with a pout. "Uh-huh, but if you had went to the same middle school as us, then Taehyung would've never gotten to date you" Jungkook told her.

"Why?" Lisa furrowed her brows, her smile never leaving her lips. "Because on your first day, all the guys including us both would've asked you out" Jungkook and Lisa laughed, but Taehyung didn't.

"I wonder how you guys used to look like when you were younger" Lisa put her hand under her chin, acting as is she was lost in a thought which made Jungkook giggle. "I was the most handsome one," Jungkook said proudly, but then let his shoulders drop as he pointed at Taehyung.

"But this man right here just had a very unexpected glow up and became so handsome in high school that even boys have a crush on him" Jungkook whined, making a sad face. "Aww, don't worry. You both are equally handsome, heck I even thought you both were brothers at one point!" Lisa looked at the both of them.

Lisa saw Taehyung looking at his phone with furrowed brows, looking worried. "Tae? Tae? Taehyung, what's wrong?" Lisa held his shoulder when he didn't respond. "Huh?" His head shot up to her, snapping out of his thoughts.

"I said, what's wrong?" She repeated, her smile turning upside down. "Oh, uh, nothing. Nothing is wrong I just . . . I-I have to go somewhere I'm sorry, Jungkook can you please drop Lisa back home?" Taehyung stood up, looking puzzled.

"Sure . . . ?" Jungkook raised a brow, his face showing concern and confusion. "Thanks. Bye love, bye Jungkook" Taehyung kissed the crown of Lisa's head before he left with quick steps, making Lisa and Jungkook look at each other with the same thought.

"What do you think happened?" She asked him. "Dun know, must be something related to his dad or sister" Jungkook shrugged nonchalantly. "Wait, sister? what sister?" Lisa asked with furrowed brows, not understanding him.

"He didn't tell you?" He asked back, mirroring her expression. "No, are you talking about Jisoo?" Her eyes nearly popped out of their sockets when the thought of Jisoo and Taehyung being siblings crossed her mind.

"Oh no, no no no. Jisoo is just his best friend. But I can't believe he didn't tell you about his sister." An amusing smile painted on Jungkook's face upon realization. "He . . never really talks about his family with me" Lisa looked away, trying to recall any time Taehyung had ever mentioned something about his family to her,

But there was none.

"Kim Seulgi is Taheyung's sister" Lisa nearly chocked on air upon hearing Jungkook's words. "No way, the top model of Korea? The Kim Seulgi?" She asked in awe, Jungkook nodded with a small smile.

"When his parents got divorced, Seulgi chose to live with her dad while Taehyung chose his mom instead. They don't have any sibling relationship though, Seulgi and him don't even talk. I think he once said that it was because of some argument they had when they had to chose between there parents so, yeah" Jungkook explained.

"Wow that's just . . .  I don't know what to say" Lisa rubbed her arm, her eyes were still wide from the shocking news. "Hey, don't tell him I told you, he never wanted you to find out anyways. I honestly don't understand why he even agreed to take over his dad's whole business, I mean he could've just asked his dad to divide it between him and Seulgi. It's hectic, he even forgets to do his assignments sometimes" Jungkook sighed.

"Well that's true, there were several times he forgot to reply to my messages too. But I think he knew that someone like Seulgi won't be able to handle the business well, the company is the future of their family of course. She's beautiful though, but I don't really like her because she's just so . . full of herself? Always having that intimating stare and powerful aura, she just seems so scary" Lisa shuddered. 

"Well, you're beautiful too, but you're not full of yourself" Jungkook said as he stared at her. She stopped drinking from her juice and found herself staring back at her.

His simple yet sweet words had warmed up her heart, but had she noticed what was wrong about it? Absolutely not.
