Mistaken

Chapter #28

Author's PoV :

"Are you two a couple?" - Irene.

"He's going to Maldives with her for the summer vacation, told me he's gonna surprise her with the news." Jisoo stated, letting her shoulders slump as she was sitting by the dressing table in the dressing room, examining some eye-liner which she thought she could buy for herself too.

"Hmm, what more?" Jin asked, already knowing that Taehyung wouldn't have just texted Jisoo to tell her about his vacation plans, there was clearly something more to it. "Said he wanted to catch up with me because it has been a long time since we last met or anything" She handed the eye-liner back to the makeup artist who was doing Jin's makeup right now.

"And what did you say?" He looked back at her when the makeup artist went away to find a brush that seemingly, was missing from the kit. "I didn't reply. You tell me, what should I say? I mean yeah I want to meet him and stuff, but then what you said . . . do you think I should really tell him that we're dating when we're clearly not? I am such a bad actor Jin, he'd probably see through it" She sighed. 

"Just listen to me. Reply and say you'll be there, I'll tell you what we would do" He nodded at her, and the makeup artist came back. "Okay, done. Now spill" She tried not to smirk, she was so going to take a revenge from him today for teasing her back then in the elevator.

"So let's say that you guys are meeting at an aquarium," He began, and before he could continue, she started laughing. "Aquarium? Jin we're not kids!" She said while laughing. "Not an actual one! There's this new mall which has an aquarium in it and it's very nice by the way. You just have to say something like 'Hey, there's a new mall opened up, let's meet there!'' He paused, she nodded at him.

"And while you guys would be talking and stuff, just give him a hint like 'there was this boy I really liked and he was my very close friend' okay? Then purposely walk to the aquarium where I, would be having the fakest photoshoot ever. Then suddenly look at me and say 'Baby!' and I'll reply like 'love!' and we would meet like a couple would. As i said before that you would tell him we're dating, then he'd know you're happy and have moved on!" He finished with a small clap.

"What do you mean like a couple would?" From all the words he had said, she had purposely asked him about that one sentence. She batted her eyelashes innocently, as if she didn't know what he had meant. "Um-you know . . . " He trailed off, not knowing why the topic had made him so nervous suddenly.

"Like a kiss?" She asked with wide, big brown eyes. And it was clear that she was teasing him with it, but he seemed to not notice that. "A-Ah, we could just-" He was cut off when his name was called from outside, his makeup was done too. "Coming!" He yelled back, a bit disappointed that the moment was ruined now.

She saw how his ears had turned red when he stood up and left the room without another word. And as soon as the door closed, Jisoo burst out laughing, he was really that embarrassed about it?

Who knew that someone as bold as Kim Seokjin could get shy too?
