Penny (Big Bang): Wonder Woman

The boys had once again upset Penny with their lack of people skills. And once again they had called you to clean up their mess. You trudged your way up the unwelcoming steps of the apartment building, wondering how you'll fix this. Your feet carried their way towards Penny's door, not bothering to interrupt the geek squad. Your hand gently knocked on the door, hoping she would be willing to listen.

"Please go away" her voice muffled from the other side. You sighed at her words, you could her how upset she was.

"Penny, it's me. The boys are asshats, I'm here to beat them up" a chuckle could be heard behind the door, followed by shuffling of feet. As the door began to open, Penny's voice flowed through.

"So they called you?" A playful smile on her lips, leaning against the door frame. It took a moment for you to comprehend what she was wearing. A Wonder Woman suit that fitted her perfectly and accentuated her curves. Your mouth became dry as your words failed to pass your lips. A stunned deer in headlights would describe your composure.

"Oh, I uh.." you stumbled, your brain could not focus on articulating words while she stood in front of you. Now you truly were acting like the men across the hall.

"Is everything okay?" Her once playful voice was now replaced with worry. She firmly placed her hands on your shoulders, ready to hold you in case you were to fall. An audible gulp filled the silence between you.

"Yeah, it's just.. I'm fine" you mentally slapped yourself for being lame. You prided yourself on being above the geniuses when it came to social interaction. Penny raised an eyebrow at your antics, she was trying to pinpoint the problem. Then it became clear, she looked at her outfit and back up to you. She carefully let go of you, a smug smirk firm on her face.

"It's the costume, isn't it?" At her words, a deep red spread across your cheeks. A triumphant feeling filled Penny's heart at the sight of you. It was hard not to think you looked adorable. In response, you nodded your head, your eyes focusing on the awful apartment carpet. Penny placed her finger under your chin, softly lifting it, making you lock eyes. The tension began to build, as you stood still, pushing back the urge to kiss her. It was as if Penny could read your thoughts, she pulled you closer to her and brushed her lips against yours. With one final lick of her lips, she began to kiss you. Your brain was on autopilot as you kissed back, soft lips and the taste of lipgloss mixing into the kiss. You relaxed into her touch as she moved her hands to your waist, holding you in place. After a few moments, she pulled back, her eyes darker than before.

"Wow" was all you could say, as cliche as it was, the kiss took your breath away. If it wasn't for Penny's strong grip on your waist, you would possibly pass out. A big smile appeared on your lips, a smile that matched Penny's.

"I definitely feel much better now" she lent in and gave you a peck on your cheek. Cheeks that seem to be hotter than the sun. "How about we ditch the boys and continue what we started?"

"I would like that very much" even you could hear how lame that sentence was but to Penny, that was the cherry on top. She intertwined your fingers, leading you through her front door and into her apartment. You took one last glance towards the room across the hall, they most likely won't notice your disappearance for awhile. After shutting the door, it was a few hours before you resurfaced. Just like you expected, the group of scientists didn't expect a thing.
