When you awoke the next morning, you weren't surprised that you were still in the dining room. You rubbed your eyes, adjusting to the harsh light of morning. All the moments of last night flashed through your mind, every painful detail. You jolted up and hurried around the house, checking every room possible. You instantly came to a stop when you saw yourself in the mirror that was hanging up on the wall. I look like a hot mess. You began to smooth your hair out and fix yourself up, that's when it hit you.

"I can see!" you said loud enough for the whole house to hear. You squealed and moved with glee until you remembered how you lost your eyesight.
"Cordelia" slipped through your lips, realisation hitting you like a tonne of bricks. You forgot all about the girls and began to panic over Cordelia. Your first reaction was to check your phone, you reached inside your pocket to discover you have 5 missed calls from Fiona and 1 text message. Shit. You cursed yourself for being so reckless, you should have checked on her sooner. The message read, clear as day: 'She's fine, I'll look after her, you take care of the coven'. Fiona was always straight to the point, this tragedy hasn't changed her at all.

You continued your journey around the house, you went back to finding the girls. You made your way back downstairs and headed towards the kitchen to find the girls sitting around the bench, eating their breakfast.

"Is everyone alright?" You asked the room of silent girls, some of them startled by the sudden noise

"Yeah, we're alive if that's what you mean" Zoe was the first to respond

"The better question is, are you okay? We heard you screaming last night" Nan looked at you with a softened face and a sympathetic smile.

"Oh yeah, about that, I got something in my eye, no biggie" you shrugged it off, you didn't want to disturb the girls more than you already have. You glanced over at Nan who concentrating all her attention on you. This meant one thing, she knew every detail of last night. You gave her a small nod, encouraging her to tell the girls at a later time. She smiled in recognition before turning back to her food.

"That seems to be an extreme over reaction" Queenie looked up from her plate to chuckle at you

"Well you know, when you're around Madison long enough, you pick up on some of her traits" you gave her a wink in return, causing the rest of the group to laugh. Days like these makes you realise how pure these girls really are and just how much you love them. You sat quietly with the group, eating your breakfast when you received a text.

A name popped up on your screen and you instantly dreaded the possibility of what they could say. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath, your fingers mindlessly opening the message. When you opened your eyes, the message said: 'She's blind, those bastards blinded her'. Even though it was a simple text, you could feel the emotion hanging on each word that was written. You abruptly stood up and made your way to your bedroom. You left the girls in confusion as they watched your now emotionless body walk away. Nan was the only one to follow you, the other girls nominated her to be the carer for today. However when Nan found you, you were already on your bed, dead asleep. They knew not to disturb you when you were sleeping as this was your time to block out the world. One of the many coping mechanisms you have developed to deal with your pain.

When you woke up, the light was pouring through the window and covering you with its warm rays. You groaned and pulled the covers over your head, wishing it would swallow you whole. A noise from your bed side table brought you back to reality, you poked your head out from under the covers. Your eyes instantly landed on the time, 9 AM, you had managed to skip an entire day and then some. This sleep would go down in the history books, for sure. You picked up your phone and opened the text, another update from Fiona. 'We're coming home, she's worried about you'. Your heart skipped a beat, your love is finally going to be home. You prepared the house, making sure everything was in its right place. You wanted Cordelia to come home to the house she knows, a place where she can find things easily. The nerves began to build within you as you paced back and forth. You jumped at the sound of the front door closing, followed by the sounds of light smacks against the ground. When your eyes fell upon Cordelia, your heart sank and a fire began to burn within your chest. Your feet began to carry you towards her until your arms were wrapped around her waist. She tensed at the sudden contact before melting into your arms.
