It was time for Jades annual birthday celebration, and you couldn't be more excited for this years theme. Jade wanted to show her love and support for the LGBTQ+ community as well as show the world how proud she was to be with you. She couldn't have pictured this night differently. You spent the night dancing, singing your hearts out, taking silly photos. Best part of the night was just being with Jade and giving her all the love in the world.
It was time to bring out the cake and you could see the excitement radiate off Jade. Everyone began to sing 'Happy Birthday', calling her various nicknames from over the years. You moved closer to her, holding her hand in yours.
"Make a wish" you whispered, gently nudging her with your shoulder
"I don't need one, I already have everything I want right here" she gave your hand a small squeeze before blowing out the candles. The room roared with cheers, chants, whistles and claps.
"Happy birthday baby!" You bounced with joy as you watched your girlfriend, turn towards you.
"Thank you beautiful" she placed a quick kiss on your lips, bringing you into a big hug.
"I love you Jade" you left a soft kiss on her forehead as she rested her head in the crook of your neck. You could feel her mouth form a smile as she mumbled an "I love you" back. She let out a sigh, relaxing into your body, a feeling of content washing over her.
