You walked into Pop's with all the confidence and swagger you possessed, making sure everyone knew you were there. That wasn't hard as you were part of the South Side Serpents, the gang that rules the South Side and put fear in the North. Everyone's eyes were on you, their food untouched, their milkshakes soon forgotten. Everyone's except for a red head in the corner booth, she was fixated on watching the cream melt into her milkshake. You decided to make your way over to her, there was a force pulling you towards her. You sat down in front of her, waiting for her to react but she didn't, it was like you weren't there at all.
"Are you alright?" You asked, hoping for the slightest of movements.
"I'm fine" She said coldly, stirring her spoon slowly.
"I'm guessing you had a rough day?" You cross your arms, ready to listen to whatever small problem this girl had.
"Well, I found out my brother was murdered by my father, my mother knew about it and kept it a secret and then I just found my father hanging from the tallest plank in our barn, you know the usual. What's it to you?" You were shocked by the confession, you weren't expecting something so heavy. You sat dumbfounded, searching for the words to say. She lifted up her head and her eyes fell straight onto the branded leather jacket.
"What business does a South Sider have on this side?" She raised her perfectly shaped eyebrow as she leaned back in her seat. You took a few moments to collect yourself before speaking.
"Well someone told me that a good looking red head was having a hard time, so I'm here to cheer her up"
"I don't need your kind helping me in any way" she crossed her arms in front of her, you could her the disgust in her words
"This is what I get for being nice" You scoffed and rolled your eyes, you stood up and began to walk away. You turned to look back at her and caught her staring at your ass. She looked away as soon as your eyes met, which prompted you to say.
"If you change your mind and need a bit of cheering up, you know where to find me" You gave her a wink, as you grabbed your food and left.
She found you a few days later where you said you would be. She approached you with the same line you gave her:
"Someone told me that a good looking serpent was having a hard time, so I'm here to cheer her up"
From that sentence onwards, you began to find out more about this mysterious girl, like her name was Cheryl Blossom.
