Caroline Forbes: My Zing

Halloween was fast approaching while Mystic Falls transformed into creatures of the night. Each year you had a tradition, mostly spent with your family. However, this year it would be spent with Caroline. She was the only one left in this town that you truly cared for and would participate in every family tradition. Throughout Halloween it was your goal to watch as many horror movies as possible, binge on popcorn and lay up at night wondering, "what was that?". Nowadays Mystic Falls has become its own horror genre with vampire lurking around every corner and a new big evil each week. With the way Caroline's life is projected, she will be a main character in all that is to come.

After reevaluating the movie options, you both opted for light hearted horror. Caroline made the popcorn, enough for a cinema full of customers. You popped in a sweet but on theme movie, grabbing the pillows and the blankets. The beginning credits began to roll and Caroline snuggled into you. She let out a content sigh as she breathed in your scent, her body relaxing into your touch.

'Hotel Transylvania' popped onto the screen, a movie that neither of you had the chance to watch. Dracula cruised onto the screen with his heavy accent, Caroline furrowed her brows.

"We don't sound like that" she mumbled, clearly disturbed by the way they portrayed her. "Oo but I want to do that!" Her tone switched to excited as they transformed into bats, her interest recaptured. The way Caroline focused on the screen, her face scrunched with pure concentration and the handfuls of popcorn placed in her mouth. You couldn't love her more than right now, you could feel your heart beat faster at the beautiful woman in your arms. Caroline was quick to pick up on your rapid heart rate, secretly proud of herself. You spent equal parts fawning over Caroline as you did the movie. That was until the end credits began to roll, Caroline's big eyes turned to look at you. You couldn't help but get lost in them, thinking about how you want everyday to feel like this.

"You're my zing" the words rolled from your tongue, a tone of sincerity and love. Her eyes widened at your confession, her own heart skipping a beat. To her, it was the sweetest thing anyone had ever said to her. In that moment, her feelings were confirmed, she was in love with you.

"And you are mine" she confessed before leaning in for a kiss. A kiss that conveyed all the love she could give and more as Caroline is an overachiever. The rest of the night was filled with tender kisses, soft touches and a hint of not so PG behaviour.
