Sophia's POV

I smiled to one of my patients. Bata ito na sugatan dahil nabagsakan ito ng sanga ng puno. I can feel his pain, he got a lot of bruises and cuts. He's 11 years okd, ang daddy nito ay hindi parin makita dahil sa pagsuong nito sa bagyo.

"Magiging okay ka din." I told him.

He smiled painfully. His eyes were teary.

A soft feeling touches my heart as I saw him fighting the pain.

I looked away to contain myself not to cry.

"Doc Sophie, halina po kayo't magbreak na po tayo. It's been 2 in the afternoon but still youre not having your lunch." Sabi sakin ni Doc Corpuz, isa sa mga doctor na kasama ko sa team.

"Sige po, doc." I said and faced the next patient. "Wait lang po, ah? Sasaglit lang ako ng kain."

Ngumiti ito sa'kin. Ako naman ay lumakad na papasok ng tent, kung saan naruruon ang food preparing team.

Puro mga vegetable at prutas lang ang naruon, ang mga lutong ulam naman ay Sinigang at Adobo.

"You look si tired, girl, anong oras ka na bang nakatulog kagabi?" Drei asked me.

"Around 3 am na ako nakatulog, nakipag kwentuhan ako sa ibang mga magulang na hindi parin makatulog dahil sa takot." I replied while getting my disposable spoon and fork.

Hindi parin kasi humuhupa ang malakas na pag-ulan dahil na rin sa may bago pang bagyong papasok.

"Oo nga, eh." Doc. Chu added. "Nakaka bother din, dahil mukhang ma e extend tayo ng isa pang linggo dito, hopefully the hospital funs and budget can make it till next week."

"As far as I know, may tulong din na makukuha from the government." Drei added.

Maya maya pa'y nagulat kami ng nag brownout. Madilim ang kabuuan ng sports complex, gratefully, there's a generator that runs the light kf the complex.

"Ay jusko!" We all reacted.
