Chapter 35

"Sir Von Ferdinand was wondering if you would stay for dinner?" a tall elegant woman dressed in ragged clothes asked them

"Yes" Noah yelled

"Then will you follow me" she turned away and started to lead the way to the dining room

"Sure" Roxie told the lady and followed Lexi behind her

"Wait where is Jared?" Noah asked worried

"He will be at the table" the lady assured him

"Will you look at that Noah actually cares about somebody over food" Roxie teased

"There is always a first time for everything" Lexi joined

"Whatever" Noah ignored them and walk past them. Roxie and Lexi followed him smirking all the way

"Please have a seat" the lady told them as they entered the huge room. in the middle there was a table that could easily sit about 90 people. The room had a Victorian era look. From the ceiling there was a huge crystal chandelier the, walls were covered of flower design wallpaper, and on the windows heavy curtains hanged.

"No no we do not eat in watcher uniforms" Axel told them as he walked into the room

"Sorry but this is all we have" Lexi apologized

"I had one of the sirens take a pair of clothes for each one of you to the dressing room, Mary could you please take them, Jared is heading that way" Axel told the lady

"Yes sir" Mary signal for them to follow and stepped into the corridor. They went through corridors and up stairs until they finally reached an enormous door. Inside there were racks full of clothes, shoes on the far left wall.

"Finally I have been waiting for you" a lady told them as they walk in she was measuring Jared who was standing still looking out the window lost in his thoughts.

"Please have a seat" the lady pointed toward a couch behind her. She got the last measurements and went off into a mini room on the far left wall. She came back with a back on her hands.

"You can change in the changing booth over there" the lady pointed to the changing room next to the room she had came out of

"So who is next?" the lady asked inspecting Lexi, Noah, and Roxie

"Let's start with you" she pointed at Lexi, "Please stand here"

Lexi did as the lady told her. The lady pulled out her notepad and measuring tape. She first measured Lexi's arms, then her legs, after her waist and finally her chest

"You can sit for now let me go get you a dress" the lady told her

"Wait" Lexi stopped the lady "Please no corsets"

"No, of course not, we have not used those in a long time" the lady smirked

"Okay but the last time someone picked out my dress they put me in a corset" Lexi remember when she was in the Fay realm

"Don't worry honey you won't wear a corset" the lady assured her before she left. Jared came out of the changing booth wearing a dashing tuxedo. He wore a pair of black tux pants, a classy white shirt with red buttons, over it a red vintage leather vest with a Victorian tie, and over everything he wore a black tux jacket.

"Fancy much" Roxie pointed out

"Here this one will look perfect on you" the lady handed Lexi a bag.

"Thank you" Lexi told the lady and made her way to the changing booth passing Jared on the way who was fixing his hair in front of a head to toe mirror.

"You next" she heard the lady tell either Roxie or Noah. She opened the bag and changed into the dress they had given her. When she came out she saw the lady fitting Roxie. Noah and Jared were sitting in the sofa

"Wow you look lovely" Roxie told Lexi as soon as she saw her. Lexi smiled and went to the mirror to see how she looked. She saw herself wearing a short red lace dress. Dress went up and around her shoulders leaving her back bare. There was a red cloth covering her chest and other than that her skin could be seeing up to her waist. From the waist down the dress was puffy.

"You can get some heels over there" the lady pointed to the wall of shoes. Lexi walked up to it, she looked at the heels some the heels were too tall and others were too short. She finally saw the perfect pair. She reached for them but she could not reach it.

"Here wear this one" Lexi heard the lady tell Roxie, "And finally you"

"Do you need help?" Jared asked standing behind her

"Please" Lexi gave up and admitted she was to short to reach. Jared reached up and easily got the heels for Lexi

"Here" he handed the heels to her

"Thank you" Lexi took them and went to sit on the couch. She put on heels and stood up. She walked around testing them and then went to sit in the sofa were Jared was sitting.

"Fancy much" Jared told Roxie as she walked out of the changing booth

"Thank you" Roxie told him spinning. She took one glance at herself and went over to choose a pair of heels. She was also wearing a red dress but unlike Lexi's hers was long up to the floor it was open from the middle of the left thigh and went all the way down to the floor. Like Lexi's her back was also bare but unlike Lexi's it had a chain from one side to the other side with red crystals on it. Roxie choose some black heels from the bottom shelf.

"Can you put this clip on my hair?" Roxie sat next to Lexi with her back towards her. Lexi took the clip and put in on her lap, she then reached for hair on both sides and in the middle she put the elegant clip.

"Thank you" Roxie turned around and sat facing Noah and the lady. The lady walked away into me mini room a few seconds later she came out with a bag. Noah got up and headed toward the changing room. The lady went to the dressing room and hanged the bag. She came out with a little box and made her way to the sofa.

"Here Mr. Von Ferdinand told me to give you this" the lady handed her the box and made her way out of the room

"That is so beautiful" Roxie said when she saw the elegant brochette. Lexi carefully picked it up scared to drop it and put it on her hair

"Ready to go" Noah said as he came out of the changing room and headed toward the door

"We are but aren't" Lexi told him

"Yes I am" Noah spread out his arms showing he was dress

"I know you are dress but you are missing shoes" Jared told him. Noah looked down and his feet he was only wearing socks

"Oh I knew that" he went up to the shoe wall. He picked out a pair of shoe and put them on, "Now I'm ready"

They made their way back to the dining room. Down corridors and up corridors when they figure they were lost. Finally after a good couple of minutes they reached the dining room where Axel was sitting waiting for them.
